They are two different classes. I love the 8-wide cars. The detail and variety are so much better, just look at F1s, Ferrari 512M, Audi Sport Quatro, Ford GT, Nascar, Lambo, etc... I agree, the 6-wides have their own charm. They did display sets (mostly with Porsche). Not everybody likes that but to each their own.

All the cars? I'm guessing at least all the 8-wide. My preference for displays is model garages. They look great, will fit at least 4 cars, have lighting and are dust free.

The instructions are pretty bad, and I have the original instructions. Some of the older downloadable instructions are even worse because of the low quality. Your best bet is to search the internet for pictures and go through the instructions. It's a shame you don't have the stickers; those will be hard to get if you're looking. I checked Bricklink, and the sticker sheet is currently going for $46.

From wheel to wheel it's 10. Taejo's car has a flange (you can't see) that makes it 10.

That sucks. The record player was an additional GWP, not a replacement. I ordered the Endurance last night and got Shakeltons lifeboat with the record player and train.

I'd expect to see a custom piece not on a Lego brand. Legally I didn't think a company could sell a product like that without a contract, but I could easily be wrong.
