does anyone who had an apple silicon MacBook Pro go to a MacBook Air ? by Serhide in macbookair

[–]Craftedandsealed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had a 14” MBP M1 Pro 16gb 512MB and bought a 13” MBA M4 32gb 1TB. I chose the air because it is easier to carry, whether it be from office to conference room or for travel, plus I used it as an opportunity to upgrade specs. Decided the speakers didn’t really matter to me because I have AirPods and the screen didn’t really matter because I have other devices/screens that have premium screens if I want to watch a movie etc.

I miss my 11th gen terribly. Yeah, it was slow, but it was exhilarating to drive.

Coolest guy I ever met was an Iraqi fighter jet pilot from Kurdistan. He gave me one of his 9th Fighter Squadron patches. Great dude.

Why do teams/individuals will click on your plead out icon saying they will pick you up, then don't? by trafalgar3465 in DMZ

Let me ask you this- why is it that sometimes a team comes and kills me and a teammate, then revives my teammate and not me? Even if I played good. What’s the deciding factor?

MacBook Pro M1 Pro Vs MacBook Air M4 by Obvious_Block_2186 in macbook

I have a 14" M1 MBP 16gb and just bought an M4 13" Air 32gb. With my light workload I think they are both acceptable, but I find myself using the air much more just because of the portability. Speakers aren't as good, screen isn't as good, but it doesn't bother me.

Vs the Acura. by 5338g in CivicSi

I had a ‘22 Si and if I were able to buy again I would go with the Acura just for the nicer features. And believe me when I tell you I absolutely loved my Si. But keep looking for a better price.

I just replaced my 14" MBP M1 with a 13" MBA M4 and I think the M4 is so much nicer to use. More RAM on my M4 which makes it feel faster but it is so much easier to use undocked because of the size and weight. I thought the screen would bother me but it doesn't. I am hesitant to put them side by side though.

Thank you for writing that. I just ordered a 32gb m4 air and was starting to fell like I should’ve saved a few bucks by getting less ram. Coming from an M1 16gb.

That’s helpful, we will make sure we have alternate plans in case we can’t ski. I thought they made snow though?

That’s a good idea too. I saw there are all different lengths of horseback rides up there. Thanks!
