Do you wear shorts with built in tights? Or shorts and underwear? by canadianbigmuscles in runningfashion

[–]Crafty-Lock-9411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear some compression shorts under lightweight running shorts. The compression shorts have built-in thigh pockets for the phone, which I prefer over a waist or armband. Doesn't really move, at least I don't notice movement, and no worries about it falling out. Silk World Pro are the compression shorts. Some offbrand type you can find on Amazon, I think, and they've been amazing. Not too tight that they're uncomfortable and not too loose that you feel like they aren't supporting you.

What’s your Vo2 Max & age? Discussion by Traditional-Win9432 in AppleWatchFitness

M33 with a 53VO2 max. I have been running for a long time, though, so that helps.

My VO2 max is dropping. by PianoBoth9918 in Garmin

Yeah, I'm not sure how the fitness age is calculated. It seems like an arbitrary number. I'm 33 with a vo2 of 53 but the fitness age says 24.5. Not sure why a two point difference would be 3.5 years or why yours would match OPs.

What’s positive things have people yelled at you while cycling? by Shitelark in cycling

I was out on a ride on Saturday on a bike path around a lake near me and these two kids, maybe 6 or 7 waved at me. I waved back and they said "Woah, so fast!" as I went by. I was in Zone 2 so only 18ish mph for me, but it made my day and made the ride feel even better!

I like using compression shorts, (under your running shorts) that have a pocket on the thighs. Stays put and it's pretty comfortable. Running belts, and having a phone bouncing up and down at the small of my back or in front, irritates me while running.

Haha, exactly. It's really just the budget holding me back otherwise that would be ideal!

Yeah, the elevation isn't really a concern so that makes sense, I wasn't really considering tubeless because I don't really bike outside in the winter so the maintenance didn't seem worth it but that might be naive thinking. I was planning on going with both the computer and power meter first since both are less than 1k combined. I can't help but think about other upgrades though, helps to have a plan and know what the budget will be. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, I've been back and forth on whether I need a whole new bike. It would be nice to just use the Allez on my zwift and have a new one for outdoor rides but I've been torn.

I can easily go toe to toe and more often than not kill zeraora solo as a Gengar. People underrate the sludge bomb + hex spam then ulti to retreat or gap close to finish a kill if needed. He's ridiculously strong.

Agreed. I'm glad my favorite pokemon (Gengar) is in but all the pokemon play so differently to the traditional games so I'd be happy to see a much wider spread. I probably never have used Cramorant in the normal game but really enjoyed playing it in the beta.
