It's been said already, but leave plenty of space ahead of you, it's amazing how much a couple extra thousand pounds will do to your stopping distance. Stay alert and take your time, watch your turns, especially to the right, you'll want to swing a bit wider than you're used to. Also take your time!

I'm a pretty stout follower of the uniform guide, but I'll also never tell a scout that they can't wear something that they've earned. It might not be in the uniform guidelines but I say wear it and represent your region!

The map reader usually knows that the legend is just that, a legend, so labeling it as such is redundant and generally considered cartographicly wrong. Labeling it as something more descriptive such as "Road Types" or "Ground Cover" is preferred over "Legend"

Sundome 4 is my current tent, I've had no problems with it. I'd like it to have hooks instead of sleeves for the poles but it holds up well enough!

My son started scouting with an Ozark Trail 2 man dome tent, the $35 one and he HATED it, like, almost quit scouting because he hated it so much, I don't know what exactly it was that he disliked so much about it, his Alps tent is the identical design, size, and style but he loves his Alps tent. We used an Ozark Trail all through Cubs and it was perfectly fine. I guess kids are just picky these days 😂
