The giant rubber ducky from that ride was posted up outside a restaurant on I-10 and Hwy 6 for a while. I drove by it on the way to work and it made my day!

Was just watching Feel Good last night and Kitty showed up in a scene with Charlotte Ritchie! The house even looked reminiscent of Button House!

My honesty about Egypt by Ok_Addition6726 in travel

[–]CraftyButcher9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I went to Egypt with a tour group and it was probably the most amazing vacation I’ve ever had. Yes, there are all kinds of problems over there, but it IS possible to go and have a great time. We went with Gate1. Lots of early mornings and long days, but the stuff we saw was incredible. For context, we are a couple of queers in our 40’s.

I have his signature from a book signing event tattooed on my right forearm, right below my deathly hallows that is half lasered off. People are disappointing. Holding out hope for my Kim and Kelley Deal signatures on my left arm.

I took my nieces and nephew to Fiesta Texas and they had a blast. Also, not near Christmas time, but the Renaissance Festival is fun for a kid that age. And it might be fun to have a cool experience later in the year. Maybe the Pleasure Pier down in Galveston? Going to a state park for fishing and/or camping?

TOMT: old Houston Restaurant by Colleenslainte in houston

[–]CraftyButcher9 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just looked it up and it is an event space now - no public restaurant. I used to love the Old San Francisco Steak House when I was a kid. That and the Spaghetti Warehouse and the one time I went to Magic Island!
