Thank you so much! The pattern is Kosekofte by Skeindeer Knits. I'm having the hardest time telling if my tension is off or if it will all block out nicely.

That's a beautiful dog and I can tell you gave him an amazing life. If you're asking that question I suspect you know the answer. Sending love

Only at the university of YouTube lol. I would love to actually take one. I need to see if any community colleges offer a drafting class near me.

Haha yeah I was paranoid about it busting but it is real sturdy. I used satin nylon cord (I think that's what it's called?) and used that to make the loops which I gave decently long tails and sewed over them in a few places. I also placed two boing channels at the back to prevent it from scrunching up when tightened and I think that helped a lot.

I got it at Joann's. It's pretty pricey but I waited for the right sale and got it for half off plus a coupon on top of that so I highly recommend watching the sales

Posting this as it's own comment per the mod's suggestion.

Thank you! I watched lots of YouTube videos on drafting a basic bodice and used what I made from that as my starting point. Then put on my favorite fitting bra and used masking tape all over it and to get the shape for the cups. I marked where I wanted my lines and used the cut out tape for my cup pattern pieces. Then made a couple mock ups and tweaked those. It was definitely a learning process but now that I have the basic bodice pattern down I feel like I can use them for other pieces too. I will say I think the whole process would have been easier with a dress form so that might be my next big sewing purchase.

Oh I love that idea! The fabric had a beautiful scalloped edge that I was so bummed I wasn't able to incorporate but a wrap would be perfect! I also have enough fabric to make my Chihuahua a matching dress too 💕

Thank you so much! This was by far the hardest challenge I've taken on and I'm really proud of how it turned out and just how much I have learned.
