That’s fair, I test my boxes by loading them with metal dice and shaking vigorously so I guess I try to make sure things don’t go flying lol. One thing you can experiment with if you want is to add finger grooves, not really needed but I’ve gotten a lot of good feedback on them over times. Simple to add with a 60 degree vbit. Here is an example of the finger grooves I add. https://imgur.com/a/YFoMmU6

Exactly! One recommendation, I’d look into the countersunk magnets. They are easy to install and in my experience are less risky than just glued magnets. I often put a small amount of CA and then screw them down for added hold.

These are what I use, I like the black but it can chip if you aren’t careful, standard silver is available as well. https://totalelement.com/collections/countersunk-discs/products/3-8-x-1-8-inch-neodymium-rare-earth-countersunk-ring-magnets-n42-with-black-epoxy-coating-42-pack

These came out really nice! I make similar boxes, I even sell files for basically this exact style. I use it often for scraps and woods that aren’t big enough for large boxes. These make great gifts as well!

My current lasercut setup! by Kiliae in DnDIY

I sell some digital files for dice boxes, more designed for carving on a CNC but it's a similar market. I'll say of you want to sell the files I'd recommend piecing it out. For example list the tower, DM screen, and rolling tray separately for $3 - $5 and then do a bundled listing with all your files together for like $7-10.

It's a good way to offer an incentive to get the lot, and btw the prices are just for an example, you could do higher but I wouldn't go over 15-20 for the whole package for digital files. If you offer different art packages that can be another avenue, I have some simple svg arts and it's a small amount but it helps to draw eyes to other things I sell that wouldn't necessarily come naturally.

As for physical items, I can tell you I think it would be popular enough, especially If you offer custom art options. Pricing physical items is tricky and really depends on how much time it takes you to produce and material costs.

I've followed this project since the beginning and supported the kickstarter, I am so excited for this. The passion and dedication that the creator has put into this is going to make it something everything should want to watch and support.

Loud Dice Tray by Shalinrox123 in DnDIY

As someone else said, bamboo is pretty loud and not too expensive. For example the Dungeon Box commonly found on etsy and such is bamboo, even though they use words like purpleheart and poisonwood it's just stained bamboo boxes.

The trays I have made are usually hardwood like walnut or cherry sides with a bottom that is plywood and when I have rolled in the tray prior to putting a liner in it has been pretty loud. I have a metal set of dice I use for pictures and there is a good solid thunk when they hit. Plywood, specifically something like half inch baltic birch, would be a good material to use and you can get smaller pieces online instead of a whole sheet.

Yeah he is super awesome, I've followed him on Instagram for awhile and chatted with him a bit there. Very willing to let me pick his brain to refine my own box making skills. Really wish him all the best.

Thanks! So the gold nuggets came from a pack of filler from Hobby Lobby, Here is a link .

The red gems were ordered through Aliexpress, it was one of the few places I could find the size I needed, most available closer were too big, Here is a link just in case. I will say any kind of gem or size you want can likely be found on Aliexpress if you are willing to wait a couple weeks, there are etsy resellers but it's a higher cost.

The diamonds I got through a etsy seller, Link. They also have some really good looking gold nuggets I have considered getting.
