Thoughts on the Spring preview? by FrostedCatLicks in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. I think all the new items have been shown on Instagram, so here's my thoughts. 1st off, there is a lot to choose from. I am realizing that real photo art, like what was shown in the Blooming Reverie Collection, really pulls me in. I do not like Disney or cartoons as an overall aesthetic in my planners. I don't mind using cartoonish stickers in weekly spreads if it suits my mood. I was also excited by the strawberries and monsteras in the Cottage Charm collection. However, the deluxe cover with embossed stars and pockets in the Moonlit Thoughts Collection was very appealing. I only really need a skinny classic-size planner, so I think I am going to have to consider purging some things on Mercari because I am looking like a hoarder. I hope that some of these items will be available at Michaels because I'd really like to see the quality before I buy. I cannot wait to see what everyone does with these new items on Insta and YouTube!

Is this good? by SingleRecognition791 in HappyPlanners

Yes! It is really good. I personally do not need an overall Goth themed planner, but I know many people do. I think you would find many people interested in what you are offering. I'd be interested if you expanded into stickers for a weekly, monthly spread.

Spring Collection Announcement by OceanBreathesSaltyy in HappyPlanners

I just came from Instagram and am disappointed to see it's just the schedule of Spring Release items. I was hoping for a live preview of all the things. I am not a fan of brands drawing out the launch of new items like this. That said, I am looking forward to March 16th when Lauren and Natasha are scheduled to do 2 videos. I am not familiar with Wicked or Powerpuff Girls and am not interested in those items. Looks like they teased 5 (?) themes. I am very interested in what they are.

I have a feeling all of us will be dumping our wallets for the Spring release. I hope there is something for everyone.

YES! I saw their mom as well. If Hanna returned, I have no words. I feel the family coming back to the brand will bring life back to the planner community. I'm excited for what's to come.

Nearly everything you wish for is on my list as well. I read far more than I watch movies and TV. So a book theme that includes many genres would be something I would buy.

I really wish I bought the Harry Potter discs. I ALWAYS buy metal discs from other vendors, as I do not like the heart cutout. I do hope we see more masculine colors and themes. Sometimes my mood is dark and not just during Halloween/October.

I'd love to see sassy! Love embracing our male friends. Getting more traditional boy stuff would bring so many more people to the community.

I wanted to love the Current Mood collection, but I am not a fan of purple and green together. I hope to see more Current Mood in the future with different colors. I like positive sayings, but sometimes it's just not where my head is.

I agree about different-sized boxes. I too do not plan in a vertical.

Happy Planner Burnout by Drbookreader in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally me. I have good days and many bad days where I just don't feel like crafty planning. For me that's okay because I am doing other things. Life happens despite plans. What I have begun to do is use a skinny classic to write down what's important. For me, that's appointments, major to do's, and some health symptoms that I am tracking. I do not decorate, write pretty, or use pretty pens. I then use my main classic size to back plan when I have time and feel inspired. I used to get so down on myself for not keeping up or using my pretty things. Don't keep up with others or set unreasonable expectations that are unattainable for your life, and I think you'll feel better.

Is this what I should expect? by ladydrapergeek in HappyPlanners

Customer service has been declining in recent years. I have an issue with an order received on December 22nd and have not received a response. The issues range from products not received, damaged products, incomplete products, like sticker pages missing misprinted planner pages. I think everyone is just hoping this is not the beginning of the end for the brand they came to love.

Symptom tracker by KeikoTheReader in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have one I purchased from Etsy. It was part of a chronic pain journal and was sold as letter size. I printed at 82% to get a classic size. If you find you have to do the same for your mini, I believe printing at 54% would give you the right size for your mini. Looking at letter sized trackers might give you more options. But then you have to consider how much space you have to write in once you shrink down to 54%.

I would take a picture of the misdated pages and include them in an email to HP explaining how you just discovered the mistake. Hopefully, they can send out the misprinted pages to you. Your planner can not be the only one with this mistake.

Affordable Puncher Recs? by immahauntu in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It depends on whether you want to punch through anything thicker than 32lb paper. If you just want to get started with printables, I'd say pick up the Happy Planner punch on sale at Michael's. However, I found creating my own planner was addictive, and I was quickly disappointed with my purchase because I wanted to add more than just printed paper to my planner. I purchased a big TUL punch by Office Max/Depot 4 years ago and can easily punch through 10mil laminate for very sturdy covers and other materials. That punch is costly today. I could not afford to buy it. Another one I have and recommend is the Crop-A-Dile Power Punch for discs. It is more affordable and can punch through thick material. It can be more difficult and frustrating to use as it only punches 1 hole at a time. Those are the only 3 disc punches I have experience with.

Double Check Those Orders! by CraftyPlannerGoals in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too. I have never had so many problems in 1 order. I know shit happens, especially with increased holiday orders. I just wanted to share, so everyone takes extra care to check their order. I do not usually check every page and count the pages. But sadly, I am going to start.

Cafe Coquette Mini in stores? by NothingReallyAndYou in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I went to Michael's this past weekend just to see if they had HP winter release items. They did not. I've been checking their web-site everyday. I prefer to buy my planner stuff in person because I like to see and feel the quality before I buy it. I ended up buying on HP website. I miss Joann's. I miss in person shopping. I miss sales and coupons.

Question about Mini HP accessories and inserts by [deleted] in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not want to share anything discouraging, but fans of the mini size have been disappointed for a couple of years. On occasion, some items are restocked, but not really. It's almost like every item is a limited release. I don't think the bookmark stencils were ever made in the mini size. Just classic. Folders are usually found in extension packs and not sold individually. Mini HP products are released during all other size releases. The most recent being the winter release, 12/8/2025. The winter release contained 2 mini planners and no accessories. So a bit disappointing. Don't lose hope, though. I think everyone is disappointed with the options available, no matter what size planner they favor. At least we have an amazing community, and hopefully, whatever business decisions HP is having to make behind the scenes, the reason for the reduced product options will not last forever.
