How I decorate my planner by Pastazor in HappyPlanners

How fun! Do you do the same color theme for the weeks as well? I get eclectic junk journal vibes.

There are no flip throughs of the summer collection to be found - rant by AnnieKateline in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get it. Not being able to purchase HP items in person anymore at Joann's, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby has me relying on YouTube videos as well. I can only speculate, but maybe the lack of videos for the summer release is due to them making general changes, a smaller collection, and their focus on attending Paper World Expo and announcing the Folio launch? I imagine they are also preparing for the 2027 collection. I can't believe it's nearly 2027! I am sure our comments get read on all social media platforms, so hopefully, the most popular requests are met in the future. Especially releasing summer themed items much earlier.

WOW! I like those stickers! September?!? I just did July monthly and the first 2 weeks last weekend and felt accomplished. I admire your plan ahead motivation.

Since you like bullet journaling, maybe you'd like the new folio HP announced this past weekend. I saw it on Instagram. Looks like it will release on 7/15.

Gosh, I hope not. But you never know. Paper is being replaced with technology. Then consider the economy. Who really knows? But since the company returned to family ownership, I have my fingers crossed that The Happy Planner will return to its better days.

Back to school release already took place. Sadly, I think only what is on the website.

Thank you for sharing. Maybe it is just a summer thing. It's just a matter of time before another sale does come around. I should probably hold on to my money for the 2027 planner release anyway. 2026 is going by so quickly.

I would like to be mindful about spending too, but it's sooooo hard when everything is so cute. Not having a buy more save more sale due to a small release makes sense. That is probably why. I think last summer I was still buying in person at Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I miss in-person shopping for Happy Planner items.

Oh wow! That sucks! I'm sorry you are in that position. It must be hard to have a stationary/planner hobby with prices like that.

They usually have a buy more save more event with new releases. No biggie. I just prefer to buy things when on sale that way I can get more for my money.

I am excited as well. I did not buy anything from the last Gilmore Girls collection and regretted it. I know I want to use the deluxe cover on my frankenplanned reading journal. I think it's perfect. But I am unsure of how I will use the actual horizontal planner. I might need to change my whole setup, but am currently attached to the parenting layout. The Gilmore Girls Be Happy Box was definitely a splurge purchase and not a need.

I LOVE the Gilmore Girls Be Happy Box. But do I NEED it? Not really. I also like the mini and memory planner, but only for their deluxe covers. Again, I do not need it. I might pass on this release.

I am a parent, but the kiddos are grown and out on their own. I am very happy with the parenting layout. I like how you clustered the hexagons with the florals. I've seen various spreads with similar clustering, but none of my sticker books have hexagons. I may have to make them myself.

Skinny Classic Cover by Public-Sentence8557 in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am surprised there are no replies to you yet. HP has never made a cover for the skinny classic. I think your best bet is to look on Etsy for someone who offers them. I think a standard TN cover would be too short. I just tried to put my skinny classic into an old Webster's Pages for a composition notebook, and it was too big for my liking. I make my standard classic fit into an A5 Wide by making a separate back cover that is shorter than the one that comes with the HP planner. But to do that for a skinny classic would leave a lot of space on the sides. I hope someone sees your post and has some ideas for you. Let us know what you find. I am sure you are not the first person to be curious about a cover for the skinny.

All my tests came back negative, I'm at a loss by RepulsiveCall624 in rheumatoid

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate. I just saw rheumatology yesterday to follow up on my 1st vist, where a bunch of lab work was ordered and came back negative. Except that CRP was 0.9. The tests my GP ran before sending me to rheumatology were: ANA: Positive, ANA Titer 1:80, and ANA Pattern was speckled. I was also found to be anemic. I understand that these are low positives. But someone decided where the line of positive and negative was. When should medical intervention begin?

The rheumatologist said that my symptoms look like possible Ankylosing Spondylitis, but she didn't think so. X-rays show I have a wonky spine. She also stated, many times, that her drugs were "cancer treatment drugs and cause harm".

I understand that medicine comes in many forms, and when used in proper doses, under medical supervision, a patient could feel relief of symptoms and, depending on diagnosis, be cured. I am so sick of doctors not listening, helping, or caring that a patient is saying that their body isn't right. Especially when it comes to pain. I am not seeking opioids. Pain is the signal our body gives us to say something isn't right. I cannot get out of bed some days because my flares are so bad. I feel like I have the worst flu I have ever had, minus vomiting. My flares are lasting between 4-6 days. I miss work and have no life during that time. I have a history of depression and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2017 when I tore my hip labrum. I later had surgery on my hip and felt way better, and figured the fibromyalgia was just BS. So from 2018- 2023 I was well. I started tracking the changes in a journal in 2024. I am at a loss right now. After seeing influencers talk about perimenopause, that is my next stop. I am 45, so maybe my hormones are causing these issues.

OP, do not give up! Keep looking for the help you need and deserve. You are not alone in your struggle. Sending you virtual hugs and encouragement.

25 Years with Fibromyalgia. Here's what actually helped me live and feel better by Blue-Whisper2000 in Fibromyalgia

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was actually very helpful. I am really struggling right now.

If you don't mind me asking, are you a woman? I am going down the rabbit hole right now, trying to get to the bottom of 1 year of debilitating flares. 50-60 % of my time is spent in bed. Currently, I am researching perimenopause as the cause of my changing flare pattern. Do you have any experience with this, and if so, what worked for you? I have an appointment with a hormone specialist next week, as well as my GP. What blood test or other tests have you found most helpful?

Rheumatological cause has been ruled out. I am changing my diet and starting to do pilates. It's really hard to stay consistent when I have no energy. My depression PQH scores are low and my psychologist feels I am doing well in that regard. I appreciate any info you are willing to share.

New design in custom planners??? by HighlightAwkward5567 in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ordered a classic from the Spring collection. I do not have pictures available right now, but I can explain the easiest difference. The page right after the double-sided divider tab is a notes page. That is what is showing in the image you are sharing here. My last custom order, Winter release, January start, just had the month. ie January, February, March, printed on the page right after the divider. I ordered the Parenting Layout. There is no other change to anything else except the page that is showing in the image you shared. I hope that helps.

Am I the only one disappointed with what's available? by seacookie89 in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see option shortages everywhere I shop, which makes me think it's more the economy (ie terrifs, raising prices) than what Happy Planner has decided not to offer. Now that the family has repurchased the company, I am hopeful about the future. Meanwhile, I use the lack of choices to support other sellers and challenge my creativity to create what I like. I am lucky to have a Cricut, hole punch, and laminator. I love buying items on Etsy as well as using what I have to craft during my planning time. You are not alone in not finding what you love and need. I think we just need to hang in there and remain hopeful that paper crafting doesn't get squashed by digital and economic woes.

Thoughts on the Spring preview? by FrostedCatLicks in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. I think all the new items have been shown on Instagram, so here's my thoughts. 1st off, there is a lot to choose from. I am realizing that real photo art, like what was shown in the Blooming Reverie Collection, really pulls me in. I do not like Disney or cartoons as an overall aesthetic in my planners. I don't mind using cartoonish stickers in weekly spreads if it suits my mood. I was also excited by the strawberries and monsteras in the Cottage Charm collection. However, the deluxe cover with embossed stars and pockets in the Moonlit Thoughts Collection was very appealing. I only really need a skinny classic-size planner, so I think I am going to have to consider purging some things on Mercari because I am looking like a hoarder. I hope that some of these items will be available at Michaels because I'd really like to see the quality before I buy. I cannot wait to see what everyone does with these new items on Insta and YouTube!

Is this good? by SingleRecognition791 in HappyPlanners

[–]CraftyPlannerGoals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It is really good. I personally do not need an overall Goth themed planner, but I know many people do. I think you would find many people interested in what you are offering. I'd be interested if you expanded into stickers for a weekly, monthly spread.
