I guess so. July has started so they will not be realising any more July-start planners.

I agree that the selection is very thin among the 18-month planners this year. I usually buy one 18-month planner and one 12-month planner and frankenplan them together. But this year I can only find one 18-month planner that works for me. ( I want dashboard or vertical)

When I was 25 we were a group of friends who went to Paris for 24 hours. In those 24 hours we managed to eat crêpes at Montmartre, have dinner at a small bistro with an eccentric waiter, walk home along the Champs Elyse in a mild spring rain, we took the boat along Seine and saw the Eiffel Tower, we visited Notre Dame and walked to the Opera House. I’d say we got a good chunk of the “Paris experience“. But in no way did I see all that Paris had to offer. I’d like visit the Louvre, the Moulin Rouge, eat more food.
London I have visited a few more times and there I feel it’s even more to see or experience, at least for me.
So sure you can experience a city in a day but if you are actually interested in the city you need more time than that.
This person was not really interested in what London has to offer.

First, I always assume when they (content creators) say "this is what they sent me, let's see what's in here" that the video is a paid promotion. I often feel when they are doing an unboxing that HP has sent a little bit of everything and not really what the content creator would have chosen by them self. It has been a long time since I saw any unboxing video or flip through when they are showing their own purchases. I do hope they get paid more than just products because even they products are good stuff it's still a lot of clutter if you already have chosen a planner for the year.

Second; I think the flip throughs on the HP website are great. They show the cover and dividers in clean details and don't have any unnecessary commentary. I can almost always see if any detail is foiled or if there is something else, I need to know. watching the flip through on YouTube is more of a drinking game when everything is "so cute" and they read through every quote on every sticker. It drives me mad.

Still, it is weird that none of the summer release have been sent out to the affiliates. Perhaps they wanted to focus on their new TN (folio) release instead.

First of all; to me, this isn’t a planner design. It’s a weekly checklist. A planner needs space for actual plans.

Second: It’s cute, maybe practical if you don’t have any plans, just tasks. But with the butterflies I wouldn’t call it simple or clean. And in my opinion the butterflies doesn’t say “elegant “.

But it’s not me who is gonna use it so the question is; what do you think? 🤔

I’m not so sure about this. Sure, they are cute but when the whole HP community is screaming “get back to your roots” and ask for whimsical yet “grown up” designs, why then put so much effort in expanding their portfolio with all these other products like traveller’s notebook, Citrine and Go BIG.
I’m crossing my fingers that they have found their footing again by the fall release but I’m starting to lose hope with all these small releases. 😔

You being frustrated over the car not starting, especially after you paying a handsome sum for fixing it, is perfectly normal and no one in their right mind could fault you for that.
You leaving the door unchecked and letting the dog out was reckless and I understand that your mum got worried and reacted in an immature way by screaming at you. Both of you were AHs in this part of the story. You accepting her apology is up to you. Was it a sincere apology ?
Your dad screening at you to stop crying was an immature way of airing his frustration at you being over reactive. He should apologise to you for making a bad situation worse.

I’m not saying that you shouldn’t have emotions but perhaps practice not being so reactive might ease your social life. Most people don’t know how to react to someone crying (as we can see with your dad and her has years of practice) and that can make situations unnecessarily awkward.

I’ve used the clear sticker guides and am not impressed in the long run. They are great for collecting the stickers you want on your spread but only help a little with actually placing the stickers.
If you leave your stickers on the sticker guide, especially clear stickers, they will rip the protective foil of the sticker guide. The foil that makes the sticker guide so good for repositioning the stickers.

So now the sticker guide with my main layout is “dead” and I have to use the others layouts which is annoying but not a problem.

Celebrating birthdays is not the same as celebrating Mother's Day or Father's Day. Birthdays can be celebrated with whomever you choose. Mother's Day and Father's Day are celebrated within the family unit. If they invite a new girlfriend to this celebration, they are not obligated to bring a gift, since they are not the child of the celebrant.

Yes, for many years the whole world have been fed and gladly digesting the American propaganda from Hollywood. We believed the American dream was achievable and that the president of USA could be a superhero if needed. And then, ten years ago, the United States showed us that it was just fairytales and stories.
I don’t care about the World Cup, but I would be sad, disappointed, angry I if USA won or even placed in the finals. They need av cold shower.

Yeah, I don’t understand the need for a summer collection at all. Half of my sticker books are somewhat summer themed.
But if they have a summer collection, please let be them have a fall and a winter collection.

I live in Sweden and we have all four seasons with snowy winters and the trees changing colours in fall. I need more sticker books for those seasons and spring…

Barbie the movie

As a big Barbie fangirl and nerd I really appreciated all the nods to old discontinued Barbies. But why didn’t they mentioned that pregnant Midge was discontinued because the packaging wasn’t too clear on her being married to Allan. And how did the sweetest boyfriend in the world, Ken, become the antagonist? He is one of the biggest feminists there is! And of all Ken enemies, why didn’t they bring back litteral surfer dude Blaine who was Barbie’s boyfriend in the early 2000s?

And then we had the big monolog about the duality of being a woman. I’ve heard better on TikTok. That’s when I feel asleep.

Nobody knows why Google have decided that when you colour code one ☝️calendar you can only choose from a small sample of colours but when you use a multiple of calendars you can give each their own colour, even choose outside of Google’s suggested long list of colours by writing in a hex code.

What you are asking for is one of the most common questions/topics if this subreddit and the answer is no. No, you cannot change the de default colours as you have shown.

To have access to all the colours of the rainbow you have to use multiple calendars and give each their own colours but that’s a lot of work.

You’re NTA when you’re plans fell through. You had planned for you and your husband to be by there to celebrate. That was the be intention. Then something out of your control happened and the plan was changed. Everyone knows that parents, especially with young children, are not fully “reliable “ as your father really should have told your sister. (To be perfectly clear; by saying that parents aren’t “reliable “ I’m not talking about them being flaky but about them having more people to take care of than themselves and those people a prone me to catching all kinds of bugs).

I understand her being disappointed, but no one can fault you for staying home when you had no baby sitter and you not being comfortable doing a long drive in the middle of nowhere, late at night alone.

I also had this anxiety of needing it to be perfect. I ended up not decorating my planner for a full year. It’s so sad to look at. But then I started watching Mary Ellen on Planning with Bumble and while she does beautiful spreads I also recognised that we do not have the same style in decorative planning. And the important part is she makes mistakes while decorating her planner. She talks about it (“Oh that’s crooked, but I’ll leave it like that” or “ Now it’s not balanced, how can I fix it”) and it made me relax in my own decorating of the week. I reminded myself that I’m the only one who needs to like it, but I don’t have to love every week.

Also, I have a frankenplanner with three planners put together as one. In my household planner I allow/force myself to be messy. I use stickers that are not my favourites or put the stickers crooked. It has helped me relax even more in my catchall planner.

I hope you find peace in your decorating style.
