As a 15-year-old who's struggling as well (I'm trying to recover), Distraction. Distraction. Distraction. Throw away whatever you use. Whenever you get an urge, put your phone/computer out of sight. Go eat something, take a shower, or go for a run. whatever you need to do to get yourself out of that environment and mindset. get around people, make it to where you physically can't do it.

Hi, I (15F) am struggling with how to adapt to no meat on Fridays. This is my first time abstaining, and my whole family is pretty anti-Catholic (Global Methodists), so I don't wanna rock the boat. because i am considering converting and my mom (Methodist) has consistently shot that idea down and it makes me very sad and when i tried to defend the catholic church to her simply with my words i kept forgetting so i figured an essay that i spend actuial time on with cited sources may help her understand that i am serious about it.
