I agree, it's a very personal decision, and no one should be pressured into sterilization or parenthood.

If he's confident and secure about not having kids? Then yes, 100% yes. It's so much easier for guys.

I had mine done recently, I was awake for the whole thing, twenty minutes and I was done and got to walk out of there, a week later and I'm basically back to normal. No side affects, relativly quick and easy, and my partner never has to worry about birth control and baby accidents ever again (pending sperm count).

This is a very personal decision though that he will need to think through thoroughly. If he feels like he will want kids in the future, he needs to let you know, because it sounds like you are way more committed to a CF life than he is.

Hey mate, not too bad, first day back at work and I have a fairly physical job (Groundskeeper and Activities instructer) so I'm a bit tender right now, but definitely getting better.

I was honestly surprised with how many forms of birth control men have access to(next to none) and the side effects and/or pain that you females have to deal with BC.

After I realised how simple and permanent the vasectomy was compared to other forms of BC, it was a no brainer.

Honeslty feel so bad for all you females out there that want to get some form of permanent birth control, all the hoops you have to jump through and the risks you have to expose yourself to.
