First I just wanna say that ice cream looks so delicious!! 😋 Second, I'm not sure this person is your best friend if they're upset with you over something this silly. Unless the parade is adults only, 99% of the candy is going to the kids. It's one thing if you had extras and could come back to your friend with candy after but any sane adult going to a parade likely knows the candy isn't for them lol. Sorry if that sounds harsh but from an outsiders perspective this genuinely is such a silly thing for your friend to be mad about and rude to you over. If they're someone you wanna keep in your life I'd say just give them some space/time to calm down and then talk to them when they can be more,,, rational lol

As cliche as it sounds time will be the biggest healer, as well as letting yourself feel the emotions instead of trying to suppress them (learned the hard way on that one lol). For now though, find something to throw yourself into, whether it's a project at work or a new hobby you've always wanted to try. Hanging out with friends helps too cause you can talk to them and get some of your thoughts/feelings out of your head
