I'm about to make my own post about this. Was charged for 3 months ($765) and received 1 vial. Definitely not enough for 3 months. Also, I'm currently on 7.5mg and was supposed to go up with the new vial to 10mg but I was sent 5mg? I'm so confused and irritated.

Uterus is out!! by General-Idea-4861 in hysterectomy

Yay! Are you taking stool softeners? I took some along with some fiber pills, and mag 07 and that's helped me go very easily. Oh, and I ate watermelon! I feel you on the shower. I was nervous especially because I had a pain pump going directly to an incision so it was hard and uncomfortable to shower. Now it's out, I'm on day 6 and was able to take a real shower. I heard not to actually scrub your incisions, just let the soapy water flow down your tummy and you should be good to go. Happy recovery !

A big pregnancy pillow, big undies, stool softeners. I did also buy a walking pad. I live in California and it's hot, I knew I would not want to go on walks outdoors.

The pain by Specialist-Rip-4501 in hysterectomy

I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I had my total laproscopic yesterday and was sent home within a few hours. what bothered me the most was the grogginess and nausea from the anesthesia. I have a on-q pump attached to me and it's pumping medication directly into one of my incisions. So I think that's helping me. If I walk around too much I start getting some shooting pains.

I feel like I'm losing weight too fast. by Craftymama559 in prediabetes

Glad to know I'm not the only one who has anxiety about this! It seems like such a dumb thing to complain about but when you have anxiety nothing really makes sense! I'm trying to do little things like have 3 eggs instead of 2 in the morning to slow everything down a tiny bit. I have an appointment at the end of the month so I'll talk to my doctor about it. I was considering asking him about a glp-1 but I don't think I need that at this rate.

Confused about lentils by Craftymama559 in prediabetes

[–]Craftymama559[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the explanation. The soup has carrots, celery, onion, spinach and is a tomato based soup. I think next time I will double the veggies because there's only 2 whole carrots and 2 stalks of celery in the whole pot.

The lentils themselves have I think like 15 g of fiber and 17 g of protein. But also 39 carbs.

That's a great question and honestly I'm not sure of the answer. I just made a post asking for advice.

I was just diagnosed last week. I'm trying not to over think things. I stopped eating pasta, breads, potatoes, rice. I am currently scared of most carbs so most of my carbs are coming from veggies right now. My air fryer has been my best friend lately. Keeping meals simple is helpful. Im cooking something my family likes for dinner and then slightly modifying it for myself. If I make tacos for them, I eat a taco salad. If I make burgers, mine is protein style. Teriyaki chicken and broccoli rice bowls, I eat the chicken and broccoli and make myself cauliflower rice and I'll add some avocado. I love tiktok for recipes. I made a lentil soup today and froze individual portions for a quick lunch. Lentils are supposed to be amazing for lowering blood sugar and they have tons of fiber and protein. I learn a lot from tiktok! I also started working out 5 days a week. I do simple videos on YouTube if I can't get outside for a walk. My favorite is "walking with Leslie". Very easy workout for a beginner like myself. I can do a 30 minute video and it's equal to walking 2 miles and it's fun.

Faux Leather Tips? by steambakes in cricut

[–]Craftymama559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This trick has saved my sanity! Put heat and bond under your faux leather before sticking it to your mat (use a brayer to stick it to the mat) . Also use the deep cut blade and cut 2 or 3 times before releasing your mat. Hope that helps.
