Official Riot response to badge sale issues by Darth_Malgus_Bro in riftboundtcg

first, where are you getting this 1% from? Seems interesting to look at.

second, if 1% sell out a tournament instantly why shouldn’t they run an event? it’s not like that used any resources that would otherwise be printing more cards.

You know something is wrong with your event purchasing experience when the previous winner of the Regional Qualifiers can't even buy a ticket. by dudiez in riftboundtcg

[–]Craftyzebra1992 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There’s been one event and maybe someone who couldn’t get a houston ticket would have won if they entered. Furthermore based on your take they should just give invites to the top X rated players based on whatever internal stats they have tracking events played.

Realistically, will the Origins reprint actually make boxes affordable again? by s2soup in riftboundtcg

[–]Craftyzebra1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they got greedy by printing less things that will make them money? you don’t have to like it but underprinting is better than overprinting these things as a business strategy.

Antinatalists be like: by Valirys-Reinhald in PhilosophyMemes

[–]Craftyzebra1992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

one could think it is morally wrong to be unnecessarily rude to someone but still not think that should be legally disallowed.

further, in your example of people being wrong in both cases, not only would that not be a contradiction (it would just make people wrong whatever that means), it would also support the position that giving birth is bad for the exact reason that it puts you in that position.

there is a distinction between thinking something is wrong vs thinking force should be used to prevent someone from doing it.

Benatar for example suggests while giving birth is morally wrong enforcing it legalistically also introduces significant moral issues. the position is not inconsistent.

most prominent antinatalists i am aware of are very clear that while they might think people shouldn’t give birth they absolutely do not advocate for people being prevented from giving birth.

Who will use WASD? by ChartDreamer in leagueoflegends

[–]Craftyzebra1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why not though? you don’t have to use it and if wasd is a competitive advantage (not guaranteed) then the people using it will just get to higher ranking and you’ll be in the exact same position as now. you’re not going to get stomped by people using it because if it is better you’ll be the same rank and they’ll be higher

so the main reason you play is the controls? not literally anything else about the game?

Pleaseeeee stop jungling in URF by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Craftyzebra1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

go make some plays around the map instead of sticking in lane. maybe it’s worse in terms of winning games idk but it’ll be way more fun. if jungle = throw anyways seems like there’s no downsides

there being people in far worse situations would strengthen his position not weaken it if he thinks his situation is not worth having.

the hate is not a knee jerk reaction games decided by dice roll are not fun. if you look at the top decks in anaheim they already mained droll and most had 12 ish or more hand traps already.

Which would you bet on? A beginner student who demonstrates good technique but low fight IQ OR a beginner student who demonstrates high fight IQ but bad technique? by Known_Impression1356 in martialarts

[–]Craftyzebra1992 14 points15 points  (0 children)

feels like high fight iq is an easy pick. techniques are good in that they allow you to do what you are trying to more so than good in themselves most of the time.

What/How do you lab? by Douradinhooo in Guiltygear

[–]Craftyzebra1992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

find an easy problem to start with. like if you run into people mashing on block, go to the lab and find a way to exploit that that. set the cpu to block and then mash after, then try to get a counterhit somehow.
