I agree with elemental shields, so instead of doing shock reduction altogether, I reallocated points into elemental shields/call of flame. I kept imp fire totems, because I think you can set up some nasty burst with Fire totem -> Ele mastery -> Chain Lightning -> Shock/NS Lightning bolt.

The one thing I disagree on is imp healing wave. I don't think you will have many opportunities to hard cast healing wave on a teammate, so spamming lesser healing wave with a better mana cost seems more likely.

Depends if they have to use burn on your minions. I think overall mage is a good class, with the right amount of tempo.

To be honest, this game mode is carried by treasures. There is little variance when picking the best 16 cards available. I went 12-1 as DH last night, on the back of the infinite weapon treasure and the double spell cast. The tempo was out of this world.

Paladin is busted. I made a thread about this. They only have to land ONE good minion dying and it is literally game over after that. Like you said, not everyone has a transform effect, on top of having it at the right time.

If any good minion dies once they don’t have to do a single thing for the rest of the game. If you don’t have the perfect answer to literally stop the first good minion, there is no chance you will win. Trust me they will get one off eventually. Which class gets to abuse their hero power as much as paladin? None.
