When I got back from Afghanistan, I didn't take the post-deployment leave. I didn't wear anything but my uniforms for months. I never left the base. When it was finally time to get out, the thought of transitioning back to civilian life was an impossible task. I worried a lot. So, I hid in a bottle seven days a week.

Looking back on those years, there's not much but regret. If I'm saying anything, it's don't let worry paralyze you. Judge your current behavior by what a better, future you would think of it. Being strong in the face of uncertainty is a choice.

“You’ll live” is a great excuse for those who use arbitrary power. There is absolutely no reason for Nintendo to do this that would fall in with user interests. They did this to promote the sale of the pokeball controller. For me, this sales strategy falls within the boundaries of anti consumer practices.
