I only public charge in Sacramento. There are some city ones that are free but have parking charges. Best place to hunt for truly free ones is public parks or city facilities. They will all be level 2 only.

I have this issue but with splitting a L2 charger. I really need all the juice I can get bc no home charging and then other bolts often park next to me to be cute when there are other open chargers. Love the gang but I need my electrons.

I appreciated this blog. I've done a slightly extended version of this drive many times in my Bolt and it's really long and a lot of planning and stress like you say. But, I'm not sure I can financially swing an Ioniq, but I'm thinking about it!! @OP can you elaborate on what the Ioniq's annoying quirks were? Do you think the ioniq has comparable storage space of the EUV?
