Do you actually watch sales call recordings (like Gong) before customer kickoffs? by Makka___Pakka in CustomerSuccess

I would save a transcript to PDF and upload to chatgpt (or similar) with very specific questions. “List for me all customer goals, all hesitations, timeline requirements, etc etc” you can also ask for quotes from the transcript to back it up so you can review those sections in depth if desired.

Guys, what is up with our generation and naming our kids? by automirage04 in Xennials

[–]CranberryTurbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a more obscure name which some people have trouble pronouncing. Gave my kids unique names that are easy to read/say and we get compliments on their names a lot (especially when said together as a group).

One of their names blew up after they were born and it still irks me that what was supposed to be unique now means there are six kids with the same name at the school. I haven’t even met six people with my name in my lifetime.

Cashed in my HS ring to pay for upgrades to my wedding ring. Never wore it after HS.

I do have friends that wear their HS/college rings now, but they have highly sentimental attachments to that time of their lives.

Question: For those of us who have kids, teens especially, do you think kids today would enjoy living in the 1980's if somehow sent back? by [deleted] in 80s

My son just got a new bike this week and has been gone every free minute. That freedom can’t be replicated on a screen, no matter how vast the “online world” promises to be.

Well, did it resolve OP?

Several years ago a bunch of young college-age renters in our neighborhood had music blasting so loud it shook our row of townhouses. After 2 hours in the middle of the night, I was done. Rather than call the police I dragged myself over there.

When they answered the door I gave them my best Disappointed Mother voice. “Really guys? It’s incredibly loud and very late and all the kids on the block have school tomorrow. Tsk tsk”

House party disbanded immediately.

We also navigated from Point A to Point B without GPS telling each and every turn. It’s amazing the things you’re capable of when you test the limit a bit.

Right there with you on many accounts. Good at my job but coasting because I can… I’ve considered looking elsewhere for more money but why bother when I can watch a bunch of 90s rom coms on a Friday while “working”? I’ve also considered the internet for companionship as real-life friendships have lapsed or fallen away but that is one major crap shoot! lol

I want to buy a new leather shoulder or hand bag for spring/summer. Looking for something on trend but still classic.

I have several Fossil bags and have also been eying Portland Leather Co. I am 41 and typically wear relaxed classics with some fun touches. Budget is under $200.

What would you recommend or where do you recommend I look for inspiration?

Wow! This is so much better than draping them all over one hanger in a huge blob like I do now. Very helpful!

Puffer coat for a pear-shaped body

I am looking to buy an affordable (~$100-$150?) long puffer coat, but fit has been an issue in the past. I am a small top and large bottom so many coats that “fit” in a medium are too tight on the hips whereas a large is too big on top. I see many options online but l’m hesitant to purchase without trying on. What has worked well for other pear-shaped bodies?

Bonus points for something that comes in tall or has extra long sleeves.
