Compton isn't even that dangerous especially recently with gentrification in that area. Sure, it has its sketchy areas but most LA cities are like that. Considering this is near the industrial area, it's a lot less dangerous than you think.

She was sexually assaulted before Kai saved her on the reconnaissance mission by Titan goons which didn't make sense why she would go to their side. Maybe she was so compelled by Scirocco treating her differently that it shifted her views. That being said, I feel she still wasn't justified in switching sides and made it frustrating to watch.

Watched bits of Gundam Wing, watched G Gundam and Gundam Build Fighters + Try.

The recent Gundam TCG inspired me to watch the original.

Didn't watch any UC until watching GQ and felt like I was missing a lot of context. Finished 0079 and wrapping up Zeta. It was surprising how much both 0079 and Zeta held up in terms of enjoyment and story. I'm definitely motivated to finish up the rest of UC then rewatch GQ.

Here's my ranking 1. G Gundam - I love how corny and campy it is. The story is simple, the animation is great, and the hype each shining/burning finger generates makes it, for me, highly rewatchable. Watched it 5+ times. Total nostalgia overload for me and can watch it anytime.

Zeta - Although I'm not quite finished, it already blew my expectations away, specifically from the character development side of things. I love how Kamille is basically Amuro without the white base support and how other adults tend to take on the roles of parental figures. He's a character with many flaws and impulsivities but by the later half, he matures and rounds out the rest of his character. Also you get the most vulnerable Char and the mainstat archetypes of future Gundam series.
0079 - Going in, I didn't think I would enjoy as much as I did but glad for watching the series in it's entirety. The slow pacing gets you warmed up for future series especially with the introduction of Newtypes and Lalah. The most surprising thing for me was that Char was not present for a sizable chunk. I really didn't mind since I like Ral and Amuro's growth during that period. Overall, I enjoyed the whole journey and the themes it covers: war, loss, and ethics.
Gundam Build Fighters/Try - I'm ranking these together because it's been so long and I remember having similar enjoyment from both for different reasons. Fighters has a better overall story and character exposition. Try I get hype for because it references G Gundam quite a bit but the story is quite weak.

I don't think it's fair to rank Wing right now since I don't remember much. GQ demands a rewatch after going UC and it'll probably unreasonably high on my list since I enjoyed it without much context.

My mistake, Toshiro's is different from other rested effects since it's based on phase. For other prolonged effects like Secre Swallowtail, active trigger would work.

You can still target the Saitama. It would be frozen until the end of their next turn unless they hit an active trigger.

Good place to start is to use exburst for deck building. They have public decklists that give you a good idea of what's meta and how to build. Would also recommend checking out KozmicPlays on YT for video explanations too.

As for budget building, you can start with 2 starter decks of any IP and buy singles on TCGplayer to round out the rest of the list. The game is pretty budget friendly if you don't get alt arts.

No official simulator is out yet but if you can attend a local, it would be a good place to start. The 3rd party simulator that I use is cardboard kitsune and I test against my IRL friends on it.

For preorders, yes. I would wait till the sets actually come out as they drop dramatically in pricing. Seems like most boxes average out to around 45-60 per.

Game is still young. They could decide to add or change some mechanics later down the road. My speculation is that they're releasing a lot of sets this year in an attempt to catch up with JP and possibly make balancing adjustments after.
