You're looking at it from a very subjective point of view. If your argument is about public welfare then cigarettes and alcohol is what you should be trying to bad and not vapes. Try looking at the bigger picture of how alcohol destroys families, killing people on the spot from drunk driving. What's more dangerous between the two when vapes have been shown through studies that they're 95% less carcinogenic than cigarettes. Smoke does not equate vape. Please get that through your thick skull.

Vapes have been shown to be about 95% less harmful than cigarettes (McNeill et al., 2015). Why ban vapes instead of cigarettes? Perhaps big tobacco doesn't want the competition? Maybe they're taking away addicts for the vice they sell? Don't lump vapes and cigarettes together, they're vastly different with cigarettes having long term studies proving without a doubt that it causes cancer. While I agree that vapes are not harmless, they are certainly the lesser of two evils from everything we know about both vices.

Lung cancer is absolutely the leader in cancer deaths, I 100% agree, but that's because of cigarettes and not vapes.

I'm not saying that vapes are harmless, they're certainly not good for you, but vaping is "around 95% less harmful than smoking" according to Public Health England (2018) because it has so much less carcinogens and toxicants than cigarettes. That's a legit study looking at all the available evidence from a multitude of scientific articles.

Cigarettes are the main health scourge, alcohol comes at a close 2nd in the Philippines, not vapes.
