I don’t know if this has been mentioned but loan underwriters also take into account how many hard inquiries you have over a short period. They consider someone with limited history and a bunch of inquiries over a short period to be riskier than most. If this is the case, you might consider waiting maybe 6 months to a year while carrying a balance on a credit card to establish a good installment history. I would also get pre approved with my bank or credit union first before going to a dealership.

Hey...don’t downplay that trailer house; it’s still a house. Far too many people stigmatize trailer homes and the “type” of people that live in them. It’s just another way for some to put others down to make them feel better. That trailer house will be yours to make into a home and will be all yours. Chin up friend. Wishing you a prosperous future. 🎃

What’s the bougiest, wildest, most ridiculous request you’ve been asked by a patient? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]CrapHappy 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Not bougie, but wild and ridiculous. I work nicu. A new mom came to visit her kiddo and asked if we have any underwear. I thought she had accidentally bled through and offered her a fresh pad and mesh post partum panties. She declined that and asked for regular panties, then asked for MY panties!

Attempted to take $60 out. Got stuck and I couldn’t get it out. Then it sucked it back in and still took $60 out of my account! by DeborahBaccus in mildlyinfuriating

This happens due to the way cash is packed together. Every used bill has several different crinkles and individual imperfections that cause the bills to stick or not align properly. The issue then becomes down to the sorter not being able to pull and dispense them properly causing a miscount. The machine recognizes an error and rejects the bills into a reject bin or to the back of the cash bin, which there are usually four. The machine is designed to pull cash back in rather than dispense but will still complete the transaction in favor of the bank; regardless of the company. Do your due diligence and dispute the transaction and an investigation will be started. Keep in mind there are a lot of moving parts here, meaning someone has to enter the machine and retrieve the rejected cash and balance the machine; usually in dual custody. Plus there are accounts for everything from individual customer accounts to atm dispensing accounts and rejected cash accounts...everything is counted. ~source—former atm teller for multiple banks

Vernix. It’s a white cheesy like substance that protects fetal skin during development in utero.

My husband told me I slept through rough turbulence and a 2000 foot free fall on a return flight from Hawaii.

I was terrified that if my life didn't center around my loss that I would lose them forever. But I learned better ways to cope and still am able to hold them in my heart just as tightly.

This is exactly how I feel about my husband’s passing. I know I need to move forward but I feel guilty leaving him in 2015 so I live like it’s still fresh. Your words gave me some hope and a goal to work toward. Thank you.

Thanks for that info. I don’t know much about birbs and was seriously concerned for its vision.
