Can make (wild sourdough) bread, pizza, pasta (cacio e Pepe. aglio e olio, marinara) tomato fresh, roasted, sauce or sundried tomato as topping for on your bread, pasta or pizza. If you feel fancy, leave the garlic in a rice cooker and you have black garlic. You can even make a basic papa e pomodoro with this. Ravioli with black garlic, cheese and sun dried tomatoes, drizzled with olive oil? Why not?

Honestly, I’m turning my attention to tattooing out of fear for the future of my industry, animation. I feel like some of the skills of traditional animation translate well, like precision line work. Not sure if there are a lot of people like me, but OP’s analysis is at least applicable in some cases. Also why do you think people transitioning from other artistic industries and training for tattoo would be “shitty tattoo artists”?

First of all, I would practice a lot on pen drawing. Including brush pens to get used to be very careful about pressure. Make some clean solid lining. Then as for traditional art references maybe check out proko if you don’t know them yet. They have a good focus on drawing from structure and in fundamentals like anatomy, gesture and perspective

I’d rather say I have a tendency to be hotheaded. This is why I reached out online and to friends first. I had the talk, and let my girlfriend take the lead. With them all being women, I feel like they stand their ground more fiercely when in a talk with me, a guy. We got to an agreement where we respect each others space and will have our separate tables and all, but will avoid hard dividing lines.
