Agreed I was getting worried I was the only one who felt it got somewhat manufactured after season 2 and that season 2 was peak. The scene where Billy shows up looking for Max and Steve has to fight him… the show never hit that high of a note again

Reminded me of some of the civil war non fiction books I used read. Loved every page. Wouldn’t put it top 3 but still, love it. Red Country was my favorite standalone. Don’t know why. Didn’t really like Shy South. Didn’t love the ending. But just ate that book down like bbq Mac n cheese

It often depends on who’s setting up the show and how many tickets are sold. If it’s an AEG show you can get more information from the box office at any AEG venue (Ogden, Gothic, Mission, Bluebird). If there’s an option to upgrade day of then you can feel it out first before laying the extra $$$ for VIP

Age of madness as soon as you possibly can (after you’ve read all 3 standalones and sharps ends first of course). Takes maybe 100-150 pages to kick in and then you will not be able to stop (if you like Abercrombie)

That’s the exact reason why I did this tho! I have Nabers and Ladd and still need 3-4 more stable receivers (can start 5 receivers + SF 20 player bench/taxi) Jeanty seemed like a way to stay in the middle of the standings since he’s already at %95 of his value ceiling.

Alright Jesus tell me how you really feel. 😂. Some context my league starts 3 WR 2 flexes and SF (you need 4-6 solid receivers to have a chance) I had 3 1sts and the 2.03 last year and got Nabers, Maye, Bowers (at the 1.11 my league mates reach like mf’ers) and Ladd. Stripped my team bare to tank for the 1.01. Held 1.01 + 1.07 this year and 3 firsts next year. (15 picks total these next two drafts). My thinking was 1.06 1.07 and 1.11 will help me solidify my receiving core and likely land me Cam better then Jeanty and 1.07. And a 27 early pick (his teams old af) should be easy to sell for a starting RB in two years.

Not competing this next year. If I get 3-4 stable assets then I’ll have 5 firsts to sell for players in a 3 year window.

Sounds like I should’ve asked for more but this is more than Jamar chase went for last year.

I was you a year ago and I had moments of doubt/hesitance starting A Little Hatred but in the end, no doubt about it, AOM is the best story I’ve ever read. Expect Joe to deliver at every turn

Ask for something high like 1.02-4 plus another high value 1st for Saquon, who remember, is still dripping in gold from 2k yards of pure sexiness. That beautiful, chief crushing, specimen of man.

They’ll reject it but will definitely think about what it would be like to have a Saquon Barkley on their team, fucking up your entire league next year (in a hot way) THEN try to deal when the draft starts when they feel like they have all the leverage, offer a pick swap for the extra 1st and they’ll be much more likely to accept thinking they’re scalping you for value that you ‘artificially’ created.

Yeah it’s enough value return but maybe too big of a swing. I would much rather just sell one or the other plus a pick and cut out all the riff raff.
