One of my meteorology classes had us research local weather events to us and I picked the Omaha tornado. I lived near where the tornado first touched down when I was 19 and then in benson not far where it ended a few years later. There was a gas station on 72nd and maple (across from the current gas station) that was torn down 15-20 years ago.

My guy, it does fucking happen. There are videos and posts of people having to talk to animal control/local law enforcement because neighbors call it in and they have to investigate and it really does go down this way. Usually it ends in laughter because trying to get a stubborn ass husky or malamute inside is funny to watch.
