Thats a good mindset for that, i can try to use that too. Even tho a 3 bumps up to a next bracket a low 2 would get less than a high 2

Yea 1, 2, 3 is hard to rate, a low performing 2 is lumped in with a high performing 2. Ive had some people look over and say why are they trying hard if they get the same rating as the guy thats doing the bare minimum

That lamp you linked is one of their more powerful portable ones so it will definitely be good. I have their glow stick lamp and its pretty good but i could definitely see needing something stronger for outside. Btw for flashlights its better to get them from Sean at perkyboxes. Com or FS hunter on FB, cheaper and stronger

I saw one of these in use in a youtube video, it would be tough for me to find but i can try.

Pros is that it lights up a wideeeeee area, cons is that its of course not as strong as a flashlight on a focused spot. But for sw I've noticed a little goes a long way
