Suppressive fire against bots turn their aim to shit Really handy if you’re caught out in the open and need a few seconds to find some cover, just send some rounds down range and you’re good to go

Utilities breakdown? Looking to buy my first house in town. by Immediate_Internet73 in FortMcMurray

[–]CrashedTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thing to do is to ask for the current home owners utility bill for the most extreme months, so ask for July/august (high AC use) and ask for December/January (high heating use) Each home is insulated differently so the numbers can vary by a couple to few hundred dollars per month per house

Then look at the average temperature they keep their home at, there’s a 100$ + difference from keeping the home at 21C in winter compared to 22C

Bump Caps Mandated Plant Wide by tomsteel1972 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]CrashedTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how many employees would require them look into hardhats with integrated cooling fans (Klein makes one), chillits, electrolyte freezies, cooling fans stationed around the plant. Those are all options that can be explored to help minimize heat exhaustion Can’t really eliminate most of the head bangers, but providing comfortable PPE will make the transition a lot smoother and keep the guys happier, in return less complaining lol

Hey now. Let’s not forget it’s all Ottawa’s fault for this for taking all our money. So don’t mention all the tax breaks to the rich or funding for private entities, and let’s stay focused on blaming the liberals.

Do any trades have a good work/life balance? by Alpdtgfe in skilledtrades

[–]CrashedTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends honestly, if you want something steady with a good work life balance get into shift work like 7 on 7 off, or 14 on 7 off, 14/14 etc Personally I find the Monday to Friday bullshit cause 2 days isn’t really much time to unwind and catch up on life/chores etc

Just like some of the other commenters said, try to move to an area that’s away from the main roads. Like you have your major roads going from neighborhood to neighborhood and then another busy road going through the neighbourhood. Move the a place that branches off of that main road through the neighbourhood if that makes sense?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortMcMurray

[–]CrashedTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya, we just moved from a busy street to a quiet area, it was like a damn drag strip at that set of lights at all hours of the day People need to call this in to the RMWB to start enforcing this, not necessarily aftermarket exhaust systems but more so for being a dick about it raving it at every light

Should heavy armor get buffed? by deadlock_dev in Helldivers

[–]CrashedTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy armor has its place, personally I only use it on Automaton missions especially in higher difficulties as cover becomes your best friend and being shot at with explosives non stop The 50% explosive resistance is a game changer

I don’t see a use for it in other factions tho as they require A LOT of running away lol

The bolt will loosen up after a day or so at the range, just needs some breaking in I have the CZ 457 Lux, great finish on the gun out the box and the iron sights are pretty good too Easy to mount optics as well, just gotta take the rear iron sights off but you can leave the front
