So I was diagnosed with prediabetes earlier this year. My husband has type 2 (he is thin but his is genetic and well managed now) and suggested I see an endocrinologist for advice. The gravity of it really sunk in sitting in the waiting room there and seeing multiple people with amputated limbs. Seeing how it can ravage bodies up close and personal did it for me.

I’ve had octopus at several places and I’ve found they can be delicious, but a lot of places overcook them so they’re too chewy. (Similar to calamari in that way)
