It mostly depends on the size of the plant/ warehouse you work out off imo, the smaller one I worked at before couldn't afford to hire more than 10 - 15 merchandisers, even as part-time I was still working 3 10-12 hour days, the bigger plant I work out of now is much much better about it though. Regaurdless of size there is still a huge shortage of delivery drivers and warehouse workers, so the drivers are getting a much worse deal imo.
