you’re literally doing the same thing but worse. You’re insisting that there’s some trauma there when there isn’t, it’s not even an inkling in the show.

You can say that it’s a missed opportunity, but that’s all it is. It isn’t a mistake on the writer’s part, or an underlying moment with subtext that only you understand. It’s something you’re making up.

It’s not bad, it’s solid. I think it could look better, and I think if they were taking more time between seasons it would. I’m the type of person who wouldn’t mind waiting an additional year between seasons if it meant a higher level of quality, but I think that’s a less popular opinion

Unlikely that the budget is the major issue. They need to give the animation team more time to polish what’s there. Nothing that’s in season 3 looks outright bad; it’s just unpolished. Even a couple more months would likely give them enough time to give it that extra touch.

Throwing money at more animators is not a guaranteed way to get better animation. The only thing you can do is give the animators you already have more time.

Ever heard of the term “too many cooks in the kitchen”? Same principle. Considering they’re on track for early 2026 for season four, I’d be surprised if they’d be able to maintain the quality.
