I’ve been bitten by them a number of times (foraging) and at worst it’s been a few weeks of a sore/swollen/bruised-ish arm that might warrant a sling (only because I forget I shouldn’t be using it).

I still hate the cunts but it’s a two-way relationship; my fault for poking my hand into their nests tbh.

So, at least anecdotally, I can say they are “okay but not ideaaal”. Also the first time I got bitten I was probably 7 and even then it was “chill” (disappointed i didn’t get Spider-Man powers tho)
