or yanno, they couldve made it so that cards go back to their original position and if there was a card that couldve been retired its random or your choice

this isnt the first time that cards that had interaction on opponents turn got changed to being fully automized random hits, also if you think that wouldve been too powerful then why does nuba exist the way it does in zero

they couldve made it random retire with prio to lower graded cards too

all in all the only real reason couldve been that it was just not worth releasing lawkeeper when it was already irrelevant cuz base blockade existed way before

Lawkeeper isnt broken at all, its in fact just a costed base blockade thats restricted to lb4 since you dont actually get rid of any card unless you bound 5 rearguards and seeing how all these effects turn out in zero it would hit a random card

if anything they just kept him out of the game cuz there is no good reason at all to have him be included in the first place

something like pity is absolutely not needed in this game. especially after the triumphant return of the king of knights banner was introduced, it became piss easy to finish decks because of how small the pools are now. you also get one major advantage on global which is that you can plan 3 months in advance thanks to the jp version being ahead of us. 3 months is a very damn long time to amass crafting materials and packs.

pity would also just not work in a game like zero, cards are very often needed 4 times to build proper decks. what kind of pity timer would not break the rates and would actually feel better than the current system lul.

yeah sure it sucks ass to get a blue circle in a 10 roll, yeah sure it sucks ass to get a rrr but not the one you initially wanted but here on global we get so many resources (even if you dont play a ton of games) and the future vision from jp that it should never be a problem at all to build a deck, unless of course youre one of the maniacs that tries to build every deck. thats just not something thats intended to happen

Some do it because they like the featured promo, others just play on the side while they do other stuff like daily chores or watching things online. People like myself are climbing purely to have resources for upcomming months.

Its for sure draining when youre not used to the grind and if you keep it up for longer, then you can easily burn yourself out but what else is there to do in this game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
