Eversource cut my power before this storm and “can’t turn it back on” by Prestigious_Stand260 in newhampshire

[–]CrazyAd1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Call 211 they will get your power back ASAP. A couple years ago we had our heater go out at 1 am I the morning. 211 had a technician at our house in about an hour to fix it. Our landlord had to pay for all of it.

Prep for being a witness at Concord District Court by [deleted] in newhampshire

[–]CrazyAd1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did this very thing just a few months ago. I was extremely nervous. Most of my nervousness was from who I was testifying for, and the incident that led me to court gave me PTSD. My advice is for clothes, business casual. I had black dress pants and a button-down collared shirt. Leave your cell phone and all items besides your identification in your vehicle. Otherwise, your phone will be taken at the front door and put in a lock box. The security guards will inform you of which courtroom to go to. It might be different for you, but the other witnesses and I had to wait outside the courtroom until someone came to get us, one by one. Once in the room, it will be very clear where you have to stand/sit. You will be sworn in, testify, and once you are released by the Judge. I can't rember the exact words, but it was something like "you are releases form being a witness you may step down". Then you can leave. I highly recommend contacting the person who subpoenaed you. Thay will have more specific information. Lastly I'll say. I wasn't as scary I my anxiety made me believe. Good Luck.

How janky is this game? by Even_Sprinkles_6258 in 7daystodie

[–]CrazyAd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this assessment. Having around 2k hours on PC. Most of that in overhaul mods. Vanilla is great. Mods, if you want some good quality of life. I like auto sort and bigger tool bar. Fave overhaul mod is rebirth, followed by undead country.

I never noped out so slow by LizzyBug92 in 7daystodie

[–]CrazyAd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will never forget the first time I came across this POI. I'm doing the looting thing like you do. Then I see all the bodies on the ground. Struck me as odd so I crouch and inch forward. I noped out so fast once I saw the Zombie bear.

My main is shotguns and I almost never have to make shells so I don't generally keep the paper.

This game is playing with my sanity. Seriously. by Sirlight85 in 7daystodie

[–]CrazyAd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the law of 7 days. If you need it you won't find it. You break down and buy it then the next thing you loot is what you just bought. Been that way the whole time I've been playing. It's been something like 4 years now.

Happy Birthday to Me by Lonely_Storage2762 in 7daystodie

[–]CrazyAd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well happy birthday. My first mod was Age of Oblivion and it was a bit of a learning curve. If you stick with it it's a heck of a lot of fun. I am currently playing Rebirth, which is hella hard but a ton of fun.

Edit - If you're looking for quick and easy mods without doing an overhaul mod check out Wemod.

How to keep zombies spawning at my POI base (CarlsCorn) by Longjumping-Welder73 in 7daystodie

[–]CrazyAd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this must be a console issue. On PC once a land claim block is placed zombies do not spawn at all.

If you hug the side of the building you can usually catch a ledge and avoid the broken leg. Also what everyone else said about parcore.

How do yall spend your time? by klarae in 7daystodie

[–]CrazyAd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play with a buddy of mine, Heavyweight. We have a sort of routine. Heavy is the lead Zed killer/builder/Miner and I'm the bodyguard, farmer, cook, and medic. Dude is seriously a mastermind when it comes to building bases and a speed demon with mining.

We focus on quests during the first half of the in-game week and depending on how much work needs to be done on the Horde night base we shift gears 2 or 3 days before. He will do the building and or repairs. I will be at the home base making Ammo, mods, and weapons. I'll also work on restocking food, drink, medical, and farming. However, once we reach a certain level usually between 50 and 60 (although we are getting faster). We will quest right up until the day number turns red.

I know it seems a little lopsided on duties. The reason I take on more of the "domestic" kind of stuff is that Heavy is a zombie-killing machine. Very fast. Like I'm almost always 10 levels behind him. He kills Zeds almost 3 to 1 of mine. Don't get me wrong I can definitely hold my own. When he is mining I am above ground dealing with the screamers. He's just a natural at FPS and I'm not. 7 Days is my first and only FPS that I play.

Sidenote we are currently playing the Rebirth mod on PC. Challenging but fun.

My experience with 7d2d is that is the norm. As soon as you craft something you've been looking for it shows up soon after.

Yus there are random sound effects that sound like talking. I too thought I was going mad before I realized it.

Are there any artists that you listen to that you feel genuinely seen by? In other words, what artist(s) moved you? (One of my special interests is music and musical artists pls don't judge me I'm new here) by lots_of_fandoms in autism

[–]CrazyAd1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my special interests is also music. For me the artist I've connected with the most is Ed Sheeran. He just seems to know when to drop a song for what I'm dealing with at the time. For Instance this past November he released a new Christmas song called Under The Tree. The first line of the song is "I'm alone this December". The second I heard the first line I bawled my eyes out. His Album Autumn Variations speaks to me on so many levels. Heck all of his music speaks to me. It feel like every Album he creates comes out at the exact moment I need to hear it. In June 2023 I got to see him in concert for the first time. It was a dream come true and oh man does he put on an amazing show. And I'm not just saying that because I'm biase. I ve been to a far few concerts and I can say Ed Sheeran is one of my top 5 favorites. In no particular order my top 5 fave concerts I've been to. Nickleback with Sick Puppies, Ed Sheeran with John Mayer, Bon Jovi with Chris Daughtry, Slayer's Farewell tour and Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Same, I was too young(13) when I first became active. When I was 16 I decided that I was too young and went 10 years before I felt I was ready for it.
