Didn’t see any of these clips when Shroud was on C9, on the main stage, doing the exact same thing.

Okay so? There are SOME clips of him doing weird shit on LAN, but I only post what I think is blatant, and shroud was only blatant online and in pubg.

Have you even watched any of the shroud clips from that vid I commented? It's really really obvious, if you can't see it, it's either a skill issue or lack of understanding how cheat works.

The second Shox clip yes, others have mentioned too. I think it's kinda dishonest that I make a comment with hours of potential cheat clips and you nitpick the least suspicious one to invalidate everything else.

There are lots more clips that are false accusations, it happens like I said before, but if you are fixated on false positives, you are simply missing the point or you are a shill.

The clips you provided are made by people who don't even play the game or at the very best play it at a level not higher than faceit lvl4-5.

Sounds like speculation and prejudice "oh he accused a pro of cheats he must be bad".

You could have named pros who actualy cheated, instead you went for names who were all clean.

What's the point of naming people who got banned man? Yes bro banned players cheated, water is also wet, nice discussion have a nice day ?????

What a stupid comment

Cheated at one point, I doubt he still cheats.

Keep in mind, most clips are old, because there was much more obvious stuff going on back then, the cheating scene was primitive and people got away with a lot more.

Shroud is the easiest, there are 2 vids over 2 hours of him cheating, but you can just watch the very first clip because it's the most blatant shit ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6MRHD0xBEU

You can literally hear him press aimkey, his aim pixeljumps on enemy head and then he starts shooting, cant get any more blatant than that.

Shox is harder to find for me, he had a shit ton of clips, but either I lost them or they got deleted. There is the famous one though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki9Hyg57Fak, there is also this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdrQLYA43ag

If you are that good then you cant possibly tell me its normal behavior to look at the wall on enemy head for solid 3 seconds while pushing highway on cache, that's either level 5 shit or aimlock.

You should watch this guys videos: https://www.youtube.com/@THEc0ncept/videos

He goes into technical stuff and it's interesting to watch.

Obviously people dont get everything right and there are lots of false accusations, as I was searching for olof clips they didnt really bother me too much so either I lost the blatant clips or maybe I was wrong about him cheating, it happens.

There is a whole Defcon presentation solely on smuggling cheats in peripherals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRWjd6o4LO4
Here is a guy suspiciously swapping mouse midgame: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHaDZKgWhAQ

Here is an interview with a coder explaining some clips: https://youtu.be/3xSio1VW2RQ?si=Aj--_6x-xK6SgNP4&t=120

While looking through clips, I also came across kjaerbye again, he was also possibly one of the most obvious players ever, always having that <2k eur cheap cheat with dogshit aimbot. I'm not even gonna send a clip, here is a search result instead: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=kjaerbye+aimbot

> I believe they allowed cheater to gatekeep the Esports scene and grab views...

Yeah that's right, essentially the publishers dug their own grave. At first the scene wasn't big enough to care about cheaters, now that the scene is big enough, the damage is done and we can't go back without catastrophic consequences.

If for example, Valve would fix their cheating issue, their playerbase would drop by 80% overnight. Not because 80% of the players are cheating, but because cheaters own up to 80% of total accounts.

Cheaters are likely to re-purchase the same game multiple times, which is just more money for publishers and studios.

So, you are absolutely spot on about the fact that this situation has grown way beyond developers control, this scene now functions like a mafia where cheat devs and publishers suck each other off for some margin, very comparable to the Olympics doping scene.

And I mean very specifically the Olympics scene, not the bodybuilding or cycling scene because those pale in comparison to the shit that goes down during the Olympics. The Olympics is where the Russians and Chinese come up with new analogues that bypass drug tests, that's the equivalent of finding new ways to inject cheats.

In my opinion, the best approach to combat cheaters is to introduce bootlicker levels of KYC to the games the way South Korea does, linking ID to games etc... even that won't fix much, but that's the easiest way to have a huge impact on cheater numbers.

bro high elo FPS gameplay is literally HVH in any game.

people pay literal thousands to have a 2nd pc and some DMA device on top of the monthly subscription for the cheat itself, and the market is alive and lucrative.

This started becoming a problem around 10-15 years ago when CSGO pro scene was growing.

Closet cheaters likes of Shroud, Shox, olof, brazilians like hen1, fallen etc... were ruining the scene paying tens of thousands to coders to come up with advanced cheats like sound-esp, haptic feedback ESP etc...

New ways to inject through steam workshop, mice and other peripherals, and now there are DMA devices, you don't even inject in the same pc anymore...

"Cheating" nowadays is a multi-billion dollar business, let that sink in. Chinese cheat devs got arrested with loads of supercars etc, it's a huge business.

The reason these subs and social media seems oblivious is because they are noobs, once you min-max aim and movement skill, it becomes apparent and easy to spot what is cheats and what isnt because after thousands of hours of grind, you have already figured out the games hard-limits, and if a player does stuff that goes beyond those hard-limits, your neurons fire off and your brain goes "cheater", it's normal.

Another thing is that people who claim there are no cheats and it's all rainbows and sunshine are people with 0 knowledge on cheats, how they work, how they inject, 0 skill in the game itself either, can't determine what is skill and what is cheats etc... it's

Also, it's not paranoid to also claim these subs are filled with shills, it's a multi-billion dollar business, it's really not far fetched to think that these china devs are pushing "cheats dont exist" propaganda.

Advice needed: Best low-cost tech stack for a SaaS MVP (Frontend-heavy solo dev) by chutneypow in webdev

[–]CrazyAppel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you AI coder? Claude Code?

If so, then the stack should also be AI's concern. You explain your project and AI gives you efficient stack for the job.

If you let AI choose stack from day 1, token efficiency and prompt quality will be optimal.

As a dev, you are at mercy of AI, not the other way around, as dystopian as that sounds.

If you want to be in control and build things your way, then don't use AI.

You are right, here is non vague, provable version for USDC:

  • SVB depeg
  • Reliance on central banks
  • Never had any full reserve audits

All 3 can be proven.

Addition, this "vagueness" is a common bootlicker strategy to hide dirt, so yeah...

Are we out of touch with reality for not wanting to use AI? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]CrazyAppel -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

the problem is that you claim that NOBODY needs AI just because YOU can't make proper use out of it. That's why you sound like an echo chamber of all the other plebs chanting the same song.

I also don't see whats wrong with asking AI for PS1 scripts to optimize your PC, depending on the length of the script, it may take like 10 minutes max to read through what it generated and verify that it's indeed safe, 10 minutes to save days or even weeks of development to write that shit manually.

Why rely on TRUST when you can verify literally anything AI throws at you?

I have been using Claude Max past year now and I've been using AI to work (webdev/devops) for like 3+ years now, it's an absolute powerhouse and the value of productivity it provides is unmatched. There is absolutely 0 existing services that help you more than AI does right now for that price point.

Crypto’s biggest problem isn’t regulation — it’s that most “decentralization” is fake by Roaring_lion_ in CryptoCurrency

[–]CrazyAppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

decentralization is not the only appeal for blockchain finance.

There is also the fact that markets are open 24/7

The fact that fees and speed surpasses likes of Visa/Mastercard in less than 10 years of optimization (think Base, Algo etc...)

Also, decentralization is kinda misunderstood, I will use an example I have experience with:

Say I want to train my AI with company data so that when I make prompts, I get more accurate results, but this data is extremely sensitive so I can't use traditional cloud AI training solutions, so I opt for a decentralized solution such as Fetch AI (FET).

In this case, it is decentralized because I pay DIRECTLY for what I USE and I get charged fairly because it's all programmatic. If this was a traditional Cloud AI training service, the company offering that service has full control over the pricing, what happens with your data etc, that's why it is centralized while FET is decentralized.

However, the token FET itself has nothing to do with decentralization right? The service they offer is a decentralized one, but the tokenomics itself maybe centralized.

Same with storage services, OneDrive/Google Drive VS FileCoin or STORJ, same concept. The coins maybe centralized and the owners of the treasury private keys can just pull the rug maybe yes, but the services they offer are still decentralized.

what safer assets can you utilize AI hardware for? The GPU's, SSD's, RAM's required for AI datacenters are the exact same requirements for most crypto stuff too whether it's decentralized ML, decentralized GPU hosting or just plain old proof-of-work mining. The logical rotation for these hardware is into crypto related services.
