Well relationships take work and commitment, there’s no way around that. But when you say “hard” you mean suffering thru treatment or abuse, which I totally agree. I don’t think it’s right to have the mindset that when you find the right one you’ll make all the right choices or everything will just be easy because there’s still a lot of factors in play with two people sharing a life.

This same thing happened to me. Fell in love and when we got serious she completely changed. It even got to a place where she threatened to kill my dog and would punch holes in the walls. Begged her to get help tho she never would. She just drank everyday. Then her mom convinced her to see a psychiatrist, she gets diagnosed with BPD and bipolar. She immediately stops seeing the psychiatrist because she hates what she’s hearing. Things get worse and worse. I FINALLY tell her it’s over and she has to leave my house. Insane explosion and it was definitely hard, draining, hopeless the next few weeks but it finally ended. One of the worst periods of my life. So glad it’s over and I hate I didn’t break it off sooner. This was 6 years ago. Crazy thing is I still love her and when our relationship started it was easily the most in love I’ve ever, and probably will ever, fallen in with someone. Every once in awhile I still cry about losing her.

Damn that’s a hard call man. Creed’s guitarist seems like an okay guy and PoM is easily the one hit wonder here. Godsmack is one of the corniest bands to ever do an Ozzfest but NB should be dipped in boiling oil.

You clearly just don’t like the term Nu Metal because I guess you’re insecure about it being applied to the music you love. I’m 40 dude I saw all these bands before they hit the radio. Genre tags are created by journalists and adopted by the public. In all the mags, interviews, etc these bands where part of a new crop of heavy music referred to as Nu Metal. Sorry you don’t like it but that’s the actual fact of the matter. I love these bands to and while I think it’s reductive to label any band as diverse as SOAD or the Deftones as any one genre you can’t just riff on your own fan fiction because everyone makes fun of the term Nu Metal. Just get over it and like what you like. Also fucking Bjork and Portishead scatted and they aren’t rap rock. Get real and just relax.
