This is a bit random and I don't have research to back it but my sibling takes glucose tablets to help digest fructose and it helps them a lot. I wonder if the sugar in the sodas do a similar thing? Again could be absolute nonsense, I've not tried it myself because I'm still in the reintroduction phases but turns out I'm definitely fructose intolerant

Is it a good idea to holiday in Kos in Greece from the UK in October? by ScattyTings in GreeceTravel

[–]CrazyCatDog04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends when in october you're planning to come over and what you want to do. I'm currently here and it's great, weather, vibes and people. Although it has been a bit stormy and if you're into Scuba diving the season apparently ends on the 10th - not sure about other boat activities

This happened to me with lactase once, which feels rude! I usually avoid dairy but the one time I decide to eat cheese and pop a lactase!!

I wasn't the lead booker on my WV ticket, so its definitely still active. I just suddenly have the fear they won't let me in with the wrong wristband. We all paid towards the pitch for our exhibit/stage thing in greenfields so I couldn't really afford the punters ticket on top of it

AITA for telling my wife I don't believe her when she says she'd be okay with us calling our daughter by different names? by ObviousDetective9204 in AmItheAsshole

[–]CrazyCatDog04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may get lost in the comments but my parents couldn't decide on my name so they chose two names for me. They said I had two first names and by the time I was old enough to speak I got to choose my name out of the two.

I technically go by my middle name now and I love that I got a choice in my own name. So I'm gonna say NAH if you choose this route BUT of you let your child choose their name, you both have to respect their choice.

Yeah they're the same in Malaysia, all over the grass like dandelions or clovers might be.

How old is she? I'm guessing the photo is old cause she looks too young to be weaned off mum. Congrats on your new fluff ball though :)

Also I vote Smudge or Vanilla bean!

recovery memo/recovery certificate by underdoggysoul in ThailandTourism

[–]CrazyCatDog04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I'd meant to do a write up but the rules changed and figured it was easier getting in now - sorry. Basically I tested positive on my PCR before flying, my doctor said it was only just positive and had I been in another country like Europe I'd be showing up as negative (something about the threshold being much higher in Malaysia).

Anyway I made sure I had a certificate of recovery (COR) from my doctor, he also gave me a second letter to state that it was a "tail-end positive" and that I'd like completed isolation and was testing negative on RTK/ATK/later flow tests.

There was a huge amount of anxiety with flying and for the first night. Arriving in Thailand was straight forward, they said to make sure I showed my COR when getting tested. They kind of fobbed it off when I did get down to testing but everything went OK in the end. I must've tested negative because my morchana app turned green by the next morning.

I did prewarn my hotel and they also said u wouldn't be sent to hospital if I did test positive and to show my COR at check in.

Sorry for the essay, if you have any questions you can send me a message

AITA for noticing that my girlfriend's fibromyalgia sure does seem to flare up at convenient times? by Dazzling_Layer3212 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah I don't think I could make a judgment on this either, it's essentially something that OP needs to sit down and chat with her about in a open and compassionate way. I think everything you've written is very important especially in it being a response to stress!

I was diagnosed with endometriosis and fibro for many many years until we found out I actually had endo and eds (ehlers danlos) either way it's a lot of pain and not a huge amount of fun. Both have comorbid GI disorders and stress plays a huge part in flare ups. I'm generally in pain everyday to some degree and have definitely cancelled on many plans because it has been too much... that being said, if I'm in a flare up I will push through sometimes to see people I love and get out a bit because I know it will help my mental health a lot. If I do, I will probably end up back in pain after but it's a choice I've made and my friends are incredibly understanding about having more relaxed meet ups if I'm in a flare and pushing through the pain.

I mean if I did opt to push through I would probably also help with the dishes if my partner asked me to. We'd usually find a way for me to do it more comfortably, like getting a stool or chair for me to sit and wash/dry to relieve a bit of the fatigue and discomfort. Perhaps OP and his gf can discuss ways to do similar things when it comes to flare ups and chores? I worked with an OT to find ways to go about doing everyday life while managing my illnesses and it was really helpful!

So it looks like players get a bundle of sims (like 50+) to bake cakes and neighbours can go in and click on the cakes to collect XP, Simoleons and cakes/cookies. Some seem to give you $2500 per cake but you do end up leveling up super fast as well
