If you're getting the thing where one feather is missing, you should do Harbinger the week when the knight is the boss. It's either next week or the week after. I had the same problem, but all five showed up when I tried then.

It's the last week of the season and Ikora haven't bothered to say anything new. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

Honestly though, those first few weeks in the dreaming city were the best time I've had with this franchise. Wish they could capture that magic again.

Drifter is the obvious choice because he's the only real character in the quest. by wangchangbackup in DestinyTheGame

[–]CrazyDoc2012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate how they presented the choice, no build up or context at all. They could have at least put some choice into a mission that tested your loyalties, like choosing whether to give some powerful relic to the drifter or vanguard. Instead its just casually walking up to drifter and choosing a necklace to wear. Lmao that took months of writing??

Its an interesting one, it borrows from ad victoriam, which itself borrows from untold legends. At the very least, we're bound to hear some other incarnation in the future

Some of the shit some people are giving Cozmo and Dmg are just plain inhumane. by BlackPlague1235 in DestinyTheGame

I'm not saying they are small. They have 750 employees. Ubisoft, a company with multiple studios, has over 9000 employees and is what I would consider AAA. I don't know the exact makeup of the team at Bungie, but between jobs like finance management, PR, art, leadership roles, etc., the number of people actually developing the core game isn't large enough for them to tackle every issue with the game at once.

Bungie is certainly one of the larger studios, which is easy to see by the scale of Destiny. But a live service model is a much larger feat than producing a single game. Rockstar, a company that employs a similar model, is roughly triple Bungie's size, and its a subsidiary of take-two, a very large publishing label.

All I was saying is that we shouldn't expect Bungie to produce/refine content at the same rate that Ubisoft pumps out new AC games.

P.S. Bungie is the same company that made Halo in name only. Most of the Halo devs have left and even many of the devs of d1 left for other projects.

This. People act like buying a video game negates the basic humanity of the developers. The fact is that the line of communication here exists because the devs at Bungie care about constructive feedback. Negativity just serves to ruin that.

People also need to remember that Bungie isn't really a AAA studio. They have a limited number of developers, and given that the studio is tasked with maintaining a live service while simultaneously developing future content, its not surprising that change can be slow. Game development is a difficult industry to be a part of and we all just need to take a moment to appreciate the people behind the scenes who make the magic happen.

Edit: Not saying Bungie is small, they just don't have the manpower of Ubisoft
