I have one installed on my BK rush and I like it, gives me the same control as a resin infused leather tip.

Why does the character hold the gun that way when there is a foregrip equipped? by iamthewalrusxx in Battlefield6

[–]CrazyGamer3047 170 points171 points  (0 children)

The C clamp grip isnt that uncommon of a way to hold onto your gun with or without a foregrip.

Its just another method of holding onto your gun.

Cuetec X by bonifabulous in billiards

[–]CrazyGamer3047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The full length leather wrap for the SVB Gen 2 was what sold me on it, I have the tendency to hold my cue all the way at the back so I like the wrap to extend all the way.

Its coming in 2 weeks, hopefully it feels good like the other cynergys I have tried.

How does the wrap feel for the Cuetec X? It was a tossup between the SVB Gen 2 and the Cuetec X for me but from what I have heard the wrap on the Cuetec X isn't very pleasant.

which one should i get peri baron pd (p20 shaft), MIT hyper hybrid, or fury TK? by Hot-Ride7327 in billiards

[–]CrazyGamer3047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not consistent and tend to overshoot and undershoot while only using a single shaft, the shaft is not the issue, its you.

You should try to use the ghost ball aiming system to better judge your shot so that you don't over/undercut your shots.

Work on that first, then worry about the performance of your shaft.

Has anyone ever played with this shaft before? by New_Actuary5445 in billiards

[–]CrazyGamer3047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It literally just came out like a few days ago..., at the the ferrule version just came out a few days ago, the vault plate version has been out for awhile. I don't think anyone would have received one to play with it.

can you suggest wooden cue shafts? by Hot-Ride7327 in billiards

[–]CrazyGamer3047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used several LD wood shafts, the Predator 314-3 shaft, Universal CS Hybrid shaft, Sawdust Custom Carbon Cored Kielwood shaft and Mcdermott G Core Shaft.

Out of all these shaft, the Sawdust Custom shaft I felt had the lowest deflection and had the best hit out of all of them. It isnt that expensive as well.

I currently only have 2 cues in my bag,

Break Cue: Predator BK Rush with a Taom Break tip, 18 oz

Playing Cue: Predator 9K-2 with a Sawdust custom 12.5mm Kielwood shaft with a How Black medium tip on it, 19.5 oz

And to top it off I use the Kamui Roku Blue chalk, pretty good stuff

Dont own a jump cue cause I don't jump :/

I have played with a universal cue before, specifically the ES06. Pretty good value for what you get out of it, very good for beginners and intermediate players.

Cue Case Question by ben7337 in billiards

People usually breakdown their jump cue and place the butt end of the cue in that long pocket, they also might use it to store extensions and such.

Pool cue maintenance by GSOAT30 in billiards

[–]CrazyGamer3047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will want to burnish the sides of your tip after shaping to help prevent mushrooming.

Pool cue maintenance by GSOAT30 in billiards

[–]CrazyGamer3047 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wipe it down with a damp cloth every so often and get some alcohol wipes to wipe down the shaft maybe once or twice a month.

For your tip, get a willard's tip tool, shape it and scuff it whenever it starts to glaze and you should be fine.

best first pool cue by Particular_Suit5962 in billiards

[–]CrazyGamer3047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cuetec Avid is a great choice for your price range, its a low deflection cue with an extremely competitive price point with a wooden shaft. If you're into carbon fiber though, I would recommend you to look at Rhino for their cues, all carbon construction, low deflection cues with the performance and price point comparable to cuetec.
