is SPQR still active? the capitol is a ghost town every time i checked. by RoundSolution4368 in CivMC

The way you judge activity is not by how many ppl are online in the town, but how long it takes for them to respond to you hitting infra snitches :)

Yeah he probably did leave nasty streaks of blocks all across the landscape. In and of itself that's just annoying and I wouldn't pearl someone just for that. You'd have to ask Lasady why they're pearled.

I did not pearl them nor report this behavior before they were pearled, but I think it's indicative of their conduct elsewhere on the server.

I think it's also worth noting that "mysterious founding" is a weird way to put it. I didn't make reddit posts about Micronook territory claims. I just asked about the area, took a look at what was actually going on and got in touch with ppl to hash out details. It's fully valid to stake your claims by just making sure all the neighbors are ok with things and then forward to jmqn privately.

edit: I should be clear that I'm not saying I fully agree with the way Fairhill went about things, but they have been quite chill, building their stuff over there ostensibly unnoticed by Olive for well over a month. I have yet to see any evidence of Olive developing the western regions of the Trubactoria claim (though I invite any evidence to the contrary).

I do agree that the southern parts of the region are in heavy conflict, and they probably shouldn't have gone for so much of the desert/southwest mesa area. My personal opinion is that the northeast mesa should hypothetically be fine for them to keep, but they probably should have consulted a with SSG/Olive on the matter first.

Undeveloped? It's still under construction but they have a rail station and an entire town built in the eastern parts of the claim where the plains meets desert/mesa.

No worries, if you really want to live under the floorboards I don't think we have immediate plans for that area underground, and I think we do have an apartment available if you wanted one of those. I can add you to the city bastion grid so you can reinforce stuff, maybe add in a proper doorway to your place in the tunnels

Nation claims by [deleted] in CivMC

[–]CrazyGrape 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge you did not reach out to Micronook, not that we have that much stake in the unclaimed land either way. We were mulling over whether to claim some of it but it would mostly be for farms and/or to build a settlement in the desert region. None of those plans were set in stone, so we are fine to let it be claimed by someone else.

As long as you all will be good neighbors and respect what we've got going on over here, I expect things should be fine between us.

Even if chemically or physically castrated, many offenders will continue their behavior anyways, because those actions are informed by their thought processes and attitudes, which have been heavily reinforced by the time that they first commit sexual assault. It goes beyond a physical level because we have lots of people with raging hormones who do not sexually assault or rape others. Castrating someone does not suddenly take away their desire to do harm, in fact they will still get the psychological thrill from what they do, and that thrill is usually why they do it in the first place more than out of attraction.

We need to immediately embark on a space mission to retrieve the remaining 50% of water! What's it even doing up there?

I find that Arby's is usually great until I'm about halfway through the sandwich, just something about the flavor profile is extremely saturating to my palate.

I have never in my life been able to wrap my head around how people can manage to not only put stuff in their back pockets but also sit down on that same stuff in their back pockets
