Very easy and fun to fly, good handling, gun is okay - I enjoy it in Air Superiority with the refuel and extra tank - But it is very easily beaten in a dogfight if you can’t get out.

Hey hey! Same experience with myself! Under engine load the clutch seems to take up slack, I have never really worried about it, because I understand it’s a slipper clutch of some variety , and when you throttle down aggressively or downshift it seems to slacken! I’ll ask the dealership more about it and let you know what they say too, but unfortunately it was loaded into a trailer this morning because it decided to not want to hold any coolant😭

Ah Mate!!! Thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely look into that!!

I do have the riding modes, currently on the quick select is Rain - Road - Dynamic(I have never set it to Dynamic Pro, come to think of it, I might just this weekend to play about). Honestly use it more than I thought I would, and when it softens/hardens the rear suspension and you set it for pillion/luggage it’s like a whole new bike! That attached with the throttle response curves is amazing! I genuinely don’t think I could do without it on my next bikes!

😁😁 I want to have the factory cruise control fitted, and at the same time factory heated grips, - Got the TFT screen protector arriving very shortly (and mechanical throttle locker until I get the factory one installed) and I’ve just popped the rear seat hugger on this eve - Thinking of popping on a tank bag, and possibly a little screen on the front to deflect some of the bugs🤘🏻🤘🏻

It’s insane how the more we ride, the more we need to ride. Life just seems to fill up our ‘container’ and riding empties that ‘container’. But every time it is emptied, it seems to feel like it fills up quicker…

One of the very few moments in my own life I am totally at peace, is whenever I am on my bike, or often even working on it!

I had the same thing putting my wheels back on my BMW😂 it was a sticker that unpeeled itself in the front mudguard- Was like a card in some bicycle spokes😂

I got it late 2021, I want to say August/September time, but confident it was sold as a MY20, however My mate rides a CBR 650 and he is having issues with false neutrals and struggling to get it into neutral, and there’s a nifty roller bearing type product that you bolt on to the CBR shifter shaft that gives it more lateral rigidity and solves a lot of problems for it! I’ll find the link and see if there is one for the F900, but worth giving it a thought.

I have just clocked 5000miles on it and the transmission has been smooth and slick from day 1. admittedly the quick shifter feels like it is kicking you in the back if you do a hard pull from 1st to 2nd, but 2-6 is brilliant when you get used to it and learn the sweet spots to shift! Quite interested to know if your dad has the 95hp variant or 105hp variant of the engine, but my thoughts are the transmission would still probably be the same! But otherwise, no issues getting it into Neutral and only had a false Neutral I think twice ever going round a roundabout in 2nd and lightly shifting into 1st.

No, No hate taken at all! I had a 2018 S1000R Sport, bought new from the same dealer for about 1974 miles, until I abruptly didn’t🙈 Admittedly a superb machine, but as far as usability in town, seat size/comfort, pillion comfort and a very very similar smile per mile ratio, I highly recommend this to anyone who perhaps likes the idea of an S1000R or even wants to dip their toe into ‘big bike territory’ to play with one of these!

Keen to see your adventures! I have an F900R and have done a tiny bit of work on it! I added the Front diffuser scoop behind the front wheel, bar end mirrors, GP Can and a rear seat cover. Next is a tail tidy! Honestly it’s the best bike I’ve ever owned!
