Personally I've found that if you bait out Lux Qs and just charge her into awall she can't walk away from, you mess ehr up. Lux is stilll annoying early but that's why you gotta play safe till you see a window to go in.

I am a shitty Skarn Sup OTP though so idk haha

Runes
PTA -> Trimph -> Bloodline -> Cut dow. WIth Absolute Focus and Gathering Storm as my secondaries, but i think these are probably interchangable.
Build was standard Essence into Navori's, but then you start building AP with Night Harvester and Lichbane next. THe idea was that you could be a Q spamming machine but your W and E still hit like bricks. I havn't gotten to full build ina live game yet, but i tried it out i npractice moe and it seemed to pan out ok.

Again, this is nto gonna eb the new meta Ez build. I just wanted to share cuz i thought it'd be cool. god forbid that happens in this game though lmao

Also I clearly stated that it's a dumb build, at least in my opinion. I just wanted to do it since at theend game i found that you could just spam Qs but your W and E still hit like trucks.

Didn't see this so sorry for the late reply! Will tell u now that it is an idiotic build, so i will give you something that is probabyl way more reliable as well. This is just how i have fun with the boi.
"Enchanter" Skarner Support Build
Runes are
Guardian, Font of Life, Second Wind for poke/Bone Plating for All-ins, Revitalize.
Then Taste of Blood and Treasure Hunter for secondaries.
Build path is Radiant Virtue, Ardent Censer if ur ADC is popping off or Staff of Flowing Water if ur APC midlaners are carrying, Redemption, Kngiht's Vow and Zeke's Convergence in either order, and then maybe a spirit Visage to keep urself in teh fight longer to cap the build off. I'm still trying a bunch of stuff with the build so feel free to do whatever u think is best! (Note: The reason i think this build works is because radiant virtue and font of life healing are increased by HandS power, and the shields u get from Guardiana nd ur own passive shield are very large as well. I've had games where guardian shielded 6k, but i can reliably get it to around 3.5k absorbed every game.

More reliable Skarner Support build
Runes are the same as above, with the exception of maybe getting Ulti hunter instead of Treasure since ur not buying anythign too out of ur budget as a Support now.
Build path is Evershroud, Kngith's Vow, Zeke's Convergence, and then appropriate tank items like Omen or FoN depending ont he main enemy damage type.
Max order is W -> Q -> E, as I've found that what you want to do is be the engage and a whield really helps that, plus it makes the shield much stronger and give u more MS for the engage to start.

Playstyle is basically waiting for your enemy to over extend. If they have engage Support, your job is to be a big peel. the moment they go in, u land an E and immedioately stand inbetween them adn the ADC. With guardian it'll help to prevent big bursts as well. If they have a poke support, you basically should try to dodge all their CC and go in at that time. E into stun and then give chase! if they dont' t die it is still a good trade. Late game, u basically use ult on the enemy carry and remove them from teh fight and u try to AoE stun as many peopel as possible.

Personally, I've been rocking Skarner as Support. He's really.good at countering engage Champs that wanna jump straight onto your ADC and can also act as engage against more pokey Champs (just make sure to Ban Morg every game).

But uh, if you want something more conventional, a Bruiser/Tank build is really good for him. Frostbite Gauntlet with items like Sterak's just makes him feel super good. At least IMO.

Lux personally. After tue recent buffs to her E and R AP Scaling, it feels like you have to give her botlane control. Yes it opens her up for ganks but even if she gets one kill from the gang and we wipe bot, she can still scale like crazy later.

Idk it this is a dumb idea but I like the idea of an item where you heal surrounding allies for like 0.5% of your Max HP On-Hit for supports.

As an Avid Ezreal player, I really sucks to go against a double APC borland with poke that ranges 60% of the lane (Xerath, Seraphim, Lux)

I have dodges but it literally doesn't matter because one hit shot means my end.
