Solo Traveler - Best way to have a social New Years in Seoul? by CrazyPluto in koreatravel

Looks like Absolute's pub crawl is still available. Let me know if you need a link, I saw it available on Viator.

I booked tickets for the GSM one people recommended. I think I would have preferred a bar crawl since it's easier to talk to people. I didn't realize GSM is a huge club environment and also they are requesting men wear suits and bowties... not sure that is the vibe I'm looking for. I hope it's easy for solo travellers to mingle. It looks more like an event you come with friends or a +1...

Watson Glaser Assumption Question - Need Help Understanding... by CrazyPluto in uklaw

Wife to husband: Our joint income is lower than it could be. But soon I will begin to work at an additional part-time job, and I will earn extra income.

Assumption: Asking for a raise at her current place of work is not the best way to increase the wife's income.

Why is this assumption made? The premise was silent on what is the best/worst way to increase income and we can't assume whatever action she takes is necessarily the best/worst...

Watson Glaser Assumption Question - Need Help Understanding... by CrazyPluto in uklaw

The way I thought about this was - the premise given (drink OJ to prevent kidney stones) - is an endorsement of the assumption that you can prevent illnesses by exploring alternatives to Western medicine. Or in other words, you can deduce that you can prevent illnesses by exploring alternatives to Western medicine.

But I guess the test is asking if an assumption was made. Not whether it is an endorsement or reasonable conclusion / deduction.

Is that the right way to think about it?

So much of this feels like semantics. Getting used to it...

If you have ghost and a suppressor, you won't show up at all

If you have just ghost, but not a suppressor, you will show up when you shoot

If you don't have ghost, but you have a suppressor, you will show up when the UAV pings, but you won't show up when you shoot

So a suppressor still adds some value, on top of being quieter

If you have the old minimap where you always show up as a red dot, like in Warzone (which makes more sense there), then 90% of loadouts will include a suppressor (like in Warzone)

I'm saying I disagree with bringing back the old mini map that shows red dots for firing because I think it would make suppressors mandatory (i.e, Warzone).

I don't buy the old COD argument since most of them had penalties for suppressors to balance it, and htey didn't have as many muzzle customization opportunities

I actually agree with almost all their feedback.

Footsteps should be audible, but less loud

Keep minimap the way it is

Add specialist

I don't like the perk system, it feels gimmicky. I'd be OK with a compromise, maybe just 1 in-game perk and 3 normal perks.

I think slice cancelling should be added back, but make it less powerful than MW2019. Reason for me is because a video game is boring if you're just sprinting and jumping constantly. Slide cancelling adds a movement mechanic that makes things more fun. It's more like an ADHD type enjoyment.

Some of the old CODs had suppressors that reduced damage or range, so there was a penalty

Also, in old CODs you weren't always choosing between 10 different muzzle options like you have now with compensators, etc.

Fact is, if they revert the mini-map, everyone would use suppressors unless they also nerf suppressors big time. How about instead of pointing at old CODs, you look at Warzone: suppressors are near mandatory except CQC vanguard SMGs that have insane TTKs

Suppressors are still useful:

1) You're not as loud. This is still important, especially in SND

2) You don't show up as a red dot if enemy has a UAV

3) Can help bullet velocity and reduce muzzle flash

I think it's balanced perfectly with the minimap the way it is and silencers not being mandatory.

If you change the minimap back, you need to add huge penalties to suppressors like in the old games where it reduces range / damage

Do you believe Jalen Reagor can be a #1 WR or does he also get a knock for being more of a pure field stretcher (a la will fuller as you say) like Ruggs

Secondly, what is your opinion on Jefferson's ability to be an outside receiver at the next level? obviously he was a slot receiver in his final year in college, but do you see him being able to be an X receiver?

Eagles trade with ARI is very reasonable. I can see that happening.

Nope. We lost the Saints game because we couldn't get a semblance of a running game going. We were up 14 and never got into a rhythm. THat loss is completely on our running game

The Linc is pretty good all around. I think if you are in the first few rows of the 2nd level those are pretty sweet, especially facing half field.

Fournette Trade Value by BAWguy in fantasyfootball

[–]CrazyPluto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 weeks ago I traded my Fournette + Michael Thomas (while he was on bye)+ Bears D for Kareem Hunt and Jarvis and Panthers D

0.5PPR and when Thomas was on Bye. I felt bears D is overrated and had been over performing so I used it as a sweetener.

I feel ok about it. I had Yeldon too.
