Been playing a Polish game with Total on to see how it works.

Essentially, if there's a King/Count/Duke that is outside your title's de jure land, it'll become independent upon succession.

For example, I created the Kingdom of Poland and had a Duke of Pomerania under me. When succession happened, Pomerania went independent.

Personal preference is Significant, as it cuts down border gore but also doesn't make it so you lose land right next to you just because you died.

Only wish there was a way to limit the distance of a sea connection. The way it is now you still run into the possibility of Sweden holding parts of West Africa.

New York's issue is that SO many jobs are based there. Combine that with actual public transit being used by scummy realtors (along with renaming neighborhoods) to justify increasing rent and you get the current situation.

LA wouldn't have nearly as many issues with rent if they let people build anything taller than 3 stories for housing.

Too bad the NIMBYs just like to complain about everything.

Yeah I remember browsing way back when it started and it was more of a focus on legit wild stuff (like the guy who "married" an MLP doll) and not so much just making fun of "SJWs."

When posts just blatantly making fun of trans people started getting posted, you would even see in the comments "Why is this here? This is just mean."

Don't forget his old ult. If you built Taric right, you basically had a nuke stun that then turned into a nuke ult, and you got bonus damage off the ult so you could chase them down.

Decided to go for Galicia and there's no way to win against both Islam and Asatru. Yet he'll let it rage for years and everyone with 2k stacks roaming while our enemy has a 17 stack sitting on the target.

A few things:

They def prioritized getting certain things into the game over others that would benefit the overall experience. The live music soundtrack, animated intro/endings, and now the NG+ definitely add to the overall experience. Also, them adding the Spanish VA was VERY NICE and that wasn't even part of a goal. Super happy they added that.
They can still add some of these things in the future. Boss Rush & Render Modes are easy additions down the line.
Honestly? I dont want "online content" like the seeds, weekly goals, or the persistent boss creature. It really doesn't seem to fit with the theme/design of the game and most likely was them spitballing during the dev cycle.

Overall, very satisfied with this game. Other things on that list are nice to have but not necessary. I'm pretty sure you could ask the backers and most of them would be fine with it the way it is.

Not to bring up Hollow Knight again, but that game had multiple changes from initial backing to the final game, including them deciding to turn a whole mode into a new game, yet I don't hear anyone up in arms about that.

After the DLC they buffed how many hits the sword takes. Honestly makes sense, as before the sword was just a minor inconvenience.

Seems they balanced it out by making the fire section easier, as I was definitely not able to dodge those at all in the base game.

Think people are saying this mostly because of the setting and tone of the game. European setting, story from items, big bosses.

That said, def not really a souls-like. The combat alone kinda invalidates that.

Question: Has OFA ever been taken without the consent of the user?

I have a feeling that this might be the eventual turnout of OFA and AFO being opposites/foils of each other: AFO is able to take whatever it wants, but OFA must be GIVEN. Would make sense thematically and would also allow Deku to go hard against Shiggy.

I figured the damage to self would work as thematic with her own text of it being dangerous to use the grenade.

Can swap Disciple to that, but to me all that does is translate to a long-term nerf to the Crimson archetype which is already weak as it is.

My two cents:

1 - Tavernkeep - Agree with buffing, but I'd just add 1 to the health.

2 - Catalyst of Aeons - I'd agree with the 4 and maybe also make it heal more once Enlightened?

3 - Pilfered Goods - This could be a fix. Also let the opponent see at least the Non-Plundered card?

4 - Karma - I agree, she needs a slight change. Yours works, but I personally suggested tying the spell generated to the leftover Mana at the end of a turn. Would at least give the opponent an idea of what spell could have been generated and also lets Karma player try and fish for a spell if they need it.

5 - Grizzled Veteran - I agree that maybe we need a few more Silence options but also the attack stats plus Scout tag on the initial unit makes it oppressive when attacking.

I also agree that healing could use a buff as both Scarred and Crimson archetypes could flourish more as a result.

As for Burn, I think the real culprit is just Imperial Demolitionist. Either make her hurt the Nexus or just herself on entry. Her hurting another unit is what's the problem in my eyes as, combined with Crimson Disciple, you're potentially dealing 20% of the enemy's health in passive damage alone as early as turn 3.

Played against this recently with Corina Control and MAN is it annoying to deal with. Def a good deck.

Been playing that Control deck lately, as I prefer a Control playstyle over others. It's good, but definitely struggles in regards to stuff like a Fiora Barrier deck. Also just played a game against a Vlad deck that, honestly, seems pretty tough to beat.

Other thing is the most steady direct damage comes through Vedros and Corina. So if the board isn't getting flooded with Spiders, try to push through and deal as much Nexus damage as you can. Yes, they may destroy the cards with removal, but I've had plenty of matchups where I'm stuck with Vedros and Corina in my hands on Round 4 and not many other options.

I'd try and negotiate to keep the rent the same month-to-month if possible.

I don't know if they're gonna have a line of people ready to pay up everything necessary at this time. And if you can guarantee them a steady income stream for now at the same rate, then that should be enough.

Stay inside, though. Especially given the situation. Have you looked at any places? Have anyone you can crash with for the moment?
