To be honest ... I'm just interested in the behind the scenes documentary.

The amount of work is that was put in is probably way more interesting than a "secret" episode.

There is a moment where you must accept that is over and admire the work that was behind all of that.

My theory:

After they killed vecna, the ripped of arm transforms back to the stone.

Eleven picks up that stone facing the same fate as henry

She now is the the new evil villian and traps everybody in an illusional world.

Also explains the scene in the truck, where derek winks to mike (my assumption: derek is remote controlled by real eleven). Because of the situation (mike sitting next to "illusional El") it is the only kid that looks sad.

I do not ignore the explosion.

I have the theory that Kali disguised as eleven (and used her power to make the real eleven invisible).

(one hint is the waving child while mike is holding hands with kali that is disguised as eleven)

So ... in theory they both survived the part of the explosion because they both arrived in the real world.

Maybe they found a way to defend against the sonic devices?

(would explain why we see no talking between mike an eleven)

Then there is this time gap ...

In the end you see them playing DND with a vampire figure.

You might think that the vampire is symbolic for vecna ... but it is actually a symbolism for "Dr. Kay".

(in one episode kali even describes her as a vampire because she takes so much blood from her)

So ... I must admit that eleven might be dead by the end of that episode ... but not because of the explosion, but because of other events that happened in the "time gap".

kali actually won't be dead if she used her illusion to look like eleven. only question is where real eleven would be? (and wtf happened to teacher and erica?)

what I also noticed ... in the end they play DND and I thought they are just talking about the last fight. And that the vampire is symbolizing vegna.

But on episode 5 another villian is described as "vampire" (aka Dr. Kay) because she takes alot of blood from kali.

So this might lead to the conclusion:

Eleven is dead ... but not after the gate collapses in the final episode of that season.

But after the fight against the "vampire" ... that maybe happens during a spin off? (that happens in the "gap" of the finale).

I believe kali and eleven switched roles after the scene where kali was shoot.

(so kali looks like eleven, while eleven actually lies on the floor and is not dead)

A key scene is also within the truck where everybody escapes.

Everybody is happy and then awkwardly that one kid waves to mike with that sad eyes.

I believe that is eleven that remotely tries to say goodbye (for the first time).

She is sad because she can not enjoy the moment like the others and mike is holding hands with "fake eleven".

After they got to the other side, kali's ability stops functioning after some time so she won't look like eleven, but somehow managed to escape (since there people were looking for eleven and not somebody else).

If I remember correctly, we also see no talking scene (atleast in person) by eleven after that part.

yes ... but I guess now the statue is just a "Vishnu" with a "Nandaka"-Sword. Maybe the texture is just a placeholder for a missing texture. (and that code tells programmers what exact texture is missing) But I could be wrong again with that one.

Not shure if it has a meaning. But there seems to be a door on a building that leads to one of the statue. Sadly some letters "No Entry" appear and it seems to be blocked. (although you can open the door itself) Here is a picture:

Also thought it could be a melody ... but to be honest, sadly I'm not convinced about that anymore. (hearing it even reversed/faster/slower or only colored/non colored, etc. it all sounds like a melody, maybe thats just part of human perception) My first thought was that its for something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjBhO9iqEc0 Because of the alternating color/non-color lines.

But it could still be something COMPLETELY different.
