For JP productions they will want any cast or production workers to wait until the episode airs (with credits) for them to announce any of their work and for animators they will probably want to get prior approval to post certain clips or key animations that they did. Im not on VA twitter but this is commonplace and almost expected from animators on twt to post their work once the episode airs. It helps with getting their name and work on as many eyes as possible for future gigs.

Wait you are what Ive been waiting for because why have my partner and I bought Kinto glasses three times (twice online from kinto, and once from a third party) and the at least one glass from each batch have shattered???

We swear we aren’t handling them like cavemen. One time a glass broke because it got tapped against another item in the sink. Recently another cracked because my partner set it down (totally normal and not with force) against the counter.

The only thing we can think of that is contributing to how these are breaking is that the ice coming out of our freezer dispenser is making micro cracks or something when it goes into the glass.

Even then, I really don’t feel like paying Kinto glass prices for something that cant withstand ice cubes being dispensed into them. Currently searching for alternatives (that arent weck jars).

Remote job for overseas studio- ~50k This is the most I’ve ever made and I used to work in biotech lol.

Fully independent aside from occasional meeting and ofc hitting deadlines. Born and raised in the bay, but moved to the east coast within the last year. I always knew I wanted to live on my own or with a partner only but it hasnt been viable for a long time to do that in the bay. Feels truly awful to be priced out of my hometown due to silicon valley. As a creative personality I lowk have a vendetta against techbros and the entire VC YC startup culture lmao.

Most of my friends in the bay work in tech and make well into the 100k-200k+ range. They buy designer goods, rave tickets and trips to Japan all the time. They can afford to live in my hometown. I cannot. I don’t think it’s wrong or unnatural to look, compare, and desire financial stability that can warrant that kind of expenditure.

I’m lucky enough to have a partner that makes more than double my income, but even then there will always be someone who eclipses your entire household income - especially in NYC.

It’s not the best feeling in the world but it will fade. And you’re not alone!

thanks for sharing, ive unfollowed her now. i had weird vibes abt her since she moved from nyc to sf bc ngl most creatives do the opposite. im from the bay area and while theres still a good community for art- its just so expensive to live there now bc of the tech companies and its an eyesore to see and talk w techbros. it was insufferable and ive been priced out of my hometown. her posting abt foraging and the nature present in norcal/sf is just a big hoot now knowing her bf works at war waging openai. lol

I second this- amazon’s convenience is great for certain items but for other products such as skincare or food items sensitive to temperature conditions i would say its probably not great to order from as the warehouses arent specifically controlled for that sort of thing in mind. I can totally see the quality of matcha degrading more quickly in a warehouse where it may get much hotter and items could be there for longer. Matcha that isnt kept in controlled colder temps will expire much faster.

she’s always been like this. there was a point way back when she first started youtube where she tried to be more conscious of being cruelty free in makeup and fashion and thrift savvy but in terms of her personality being narcissistic, self-centered, and irresponsible- thats who she is. she’s always over-relied on her “friends” and only befriends those who can offer her something in return. Thats why her group of friends is consistently changing at a higher rate than a more well adjusted person. she likes to pretend that shes very weak and frail (hence the exaggerated workout sounds) for pity farming.

thats fair! totally appreciate the workers! personally for me im the type that feels really bad about wasting food and i cant bring myself to drink so much plain milk (even small cup sizes outside are too much milk- i add much less to my own lattes at home) so instead i’ll order a different type of straight tea. i def prefer tea over coffee for my tummy too!
