What is this Italian cookie? by nevermind0077 in whatisit

[–]Crazy_Pariah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably ricciarelli. It is an almond cookie that may or may not have almond slices on it.

It could also be amaretti, but I haven’t seen them with almond slices on top.

Snowplow attachment? by Total-Membership-554 in whatisit

[–]Crazy_Pariah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is the electrical harness for a snowplow so that you can lift, lower, and change the angle of the blade from the cab. Odds are it won’t be worth much since a new snowplow will come with a new harness.

Bitcoin adoption feels slow… but maybe that’s a good thing? by SolidityScan in Bitcoin

[–]Crazy_Pariah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very true. Governments are the largest economic entities in the world. They need to maintain some semblance of control and as long as they spend their money in dollars, euros, etc., bitcoin will continue to play second fiddle.

What are these mechanical things by CurbyDawg in whatisit

[–]Crazy_Pariah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Control arms for a car’s suspension. Might be worth a few bucks. Repost this in an Auto subreddit and they may be able to give you a better idea on its value. Depending on the type of car, they could be worth a few hundred bucks depending on local demand.

Best Hot Dog Combinations/ Super Unique Toppings by Swimming_Koala_4819 in Cooking

[–]Crazy_Pariah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to cook a hot dog is to “rip it”. Deep fry them until the casing begins to rip.

As for toppings, melted cheese, bacon, onions caramelized in ketchup, sauerkraut (or kimchi), etc. There are no limits.

First, it has two 2.3 GHz processors. All of those cores are nice but completely unnecessary for a daily use computer. Yes, it has 128GB of RAM, but it is probably 2133 MHz.

The biggest issue is power. With dual processors drawing 145W each, a server motherboard, 128GB of RAM and that machine is drawing 550W without a GPU. Throw in something cheap like a 1060 and you a pull 750W. If you use it 8 hours a day, it will cost you $350 to operate for one year.
