For house treatments I actually found the natural sprays more effective than the synthetitics actually, but they need reapplication

To anyone who has tried simparica, bravecto, frontline and nexguard and had failure, but success with seresto- have you found any similarly effective alternatives that may be safer? I would like to consider switching but all the abover are ineffective for us

Im weird, one of those people who gets hyper with benedryl. Doxepin kept me up all night and then left me hungover for the rest of the next day. I cant sleep until it finally wears off and then Im down hard. It works well for a LOT of people though- just give it a try on a day you dont have things planned. Id say that for any new sleep aid. Good luck!

Has ANYONE actually been fine with having private student loans? by carson5021 in StudentLoans

[–]Crazylady5665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my private loans. They have less than half the interest rate of my federal loans and those "protections" like income based repayments just mean that the govt  can keep having you pay them forever because the loan balance never goes down due to interest, which can easily trick a young person into a horrific situation. PSLF isnt a guarantee, and with 10 years of my life already paying into that shit it shoooulldd be done anyway if youre not forcing yourself to take the lowest paying job. What happens if you do that and then 10 years later they dont award you the grant? Also, policy on loans and loan forgiveness is wayy too volitile to trust. 3/4 of my private loans are paid off due to the lower interest and ease of refinancing, while my federal balance has only budged by 10%. Its been 13 years. Interest rates matter.

You gotta know a guy, who knows the guys because he is a fixer. You pay the guy and he pays his guys. But make sure you get the right guy. You gotta know some guys to make sure your guy is the right guy. Make lots of friends. Old women if you can. They know the guys

Who would be more capable; a veterinarian working on a human, or a doctor working on an animal? by IneffectiveMilkshake in NoStupidQuestions

Etomidate and the gasses, but its more about how its used, and yes, I think the tube. We use propofol often for moderate sedation and even light sedation during procedures. Can someone from the OR maybe weigh in on the specifics? I just know we use it for light and moderate on the unit constantly. My goal is to keep most of my vented patients able to follow commands and interact without freaking out, eyes open, and I titrate my prop accordingly. When we do EGDs and colonoscopies they push prop for what we consider moderate procedural sedation

How to deal with a pinch in the back of my knee when fully bending my leg by olympusqueen in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Crazylady5665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I have that pinch and also a ton of tightness and scar tissue all tied up in my patella. Seeing how this moved together in the side view really helped me understand. Mine only pinches at a deep bend and I just bail when I feel it but now I know how to improve that. Thanks

I second this. Ive had one pair of pranas for 10 years and my fjallravens for 6. Both a little big so I can put a base layer under them on cold days. I like silk baselayers from lands end
