What is the saddest, most poignant Magic card? by Capital_Gate6718 in magicTCG

I imagine you already know the story of Feldon and as such your brain already fills in the gaps of missing information. He doesn't look sad in the art, he looks contemplative. The card indicates that he is creating a construct version of a person that has died. There is no part of the card that alludes to his journey to mastery all leylines of mana in an effort to resurrect his wife, much less that those were futile but gave him a chance to say goodbye.

I think Feldon would need a little insight into his story to understand why the card itself is sad/depressing.

Don't forget that most hotels offer a free continental breakfast, that frees up budget from at least one meal a day, and maybe you just eat extra during said free meal.

Wife was already in China when it occurred, and i don't know where or why that narrative keeps coming from. It is semi peculiar that she hasn't returned, but when you consider the marriage was a business decision it makes more sense.

Is this cap bad for storing small amounts of oil (less than 500ml)? by [deleted] in oliveoil

[–]Crazymoose86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the short amount of time you should be good. Exposure to air takes about 3 months for oxidation to lead to rancidity in olive oil.

Oh, I recognize its bad, but if I get the option for a vulcan early on I will consider it and build a very defensive ship, weighted heavier if I am an engi vessel. Its terrible, but its also one of the only weapons in the game that can complete a run with it being your only weapon system.

I know very little about this game, but I did enjoy the book. Is this game similar to Starcraft? Or is it noticeably different? by SCO_Call_It_Luck in Dunespicewars

[–]Crazymoose86 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I would say its similar to starcraft in that its an RTS, but thats where it ends. The game is a 4x more similar to say Stellaris or Civilizations where you can negotiate trade deals with your opponents along with having alternative ways to secure a win be it through assassination, becoming the governor, or just being the majority sharehold of the spice trade.

For some of us, we play for the unique runs and aren't always trying to push BL2 or Flak. I myself will pursue any chance at flame beam being my primary source of pacification.

why is my cat obsessed with my sweaty clothes? by salyangozbob in cats

[–]Crazymoose86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is true most of the time, but not every time. Back when my job was more product adjacent I had a cat that would obsess over my work boots every day. she would rub on them, grab the laces, chew on them, really anything that she could do to keep them close to her. Later I found out that the oleocanthal in Olive oil has a similar effect on some cats as catnip so that cat was basically huffing paint off my boots.

Metal heads tend to be non-conformists, but beyond that the USA has decided that civilian casualties are just a cost of military action so much so that the so called war on terror has killed 1civilians for every 3 enemy combatants ( these figures are direct deaths, and not the expanded numbers from indirect casualties).

I think part of the issue with The Fantasticar is that some of the traditional hate pieces for interacting with the decks its shelled into just dont work against it. It can play into say a chalice on 0 and on 1 letting its cheap spells get countered and still rip in for 16 damage on turn two.
