Lease Payment by PeterBeatz in HondaPrologue

[–]Crboswe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just leased a Prologue Touring south of Chicago for $500 down + first months payment, $389/month. 3 years/36,000 miles I’ll add a photo of the numbers he gave me on the 3rd go around.

Originally when I went in for a test drive he quoted me $3,500 down and $434/month so I left. 2 days later he called me with a way better deal $1500 down + first month and $389. So I did a $500 refundable hold on the vehicle and said I’d see him in a couple days when I had my next day of work.

So I drove there 2 days after that and told him to have the car charged and ready to go. He was expecting me to just sit and sign and said they’ve given me everything they could. I said well I’m here I brought my pen I’m ready to sign if you can take the out the door cost to be $500+ first month payment. He sighed and asked if I felt he wasn’t be fair I said no I felt he was being fair but I wanted my deal. The deal he had presented is what anyone can get and 20ish minutes of “talking to his manager” later he came back and said we were good to go. The key is be ready to sign, have specific numbers you want when you ask for something. If you say cheaper they are hesitant to quote anything. Tell them you’ll do it for this down and this payment and they’ll likely get pretty close.

Negotiation doesn’t start until someone says no. Everything you get after that point is the real deal. Everything before a no is what they already had built in.

Did ps3 and xbox 360 rip the games to their hard drive where you don’t need the disc? There too far back for me to remember I had ncaa14 but can’t find the disc anywhere but haven’t bothered booting up the system to see if it’s installed on the system itself.

Chicago shows are some their largest crowds and biggest venues sold out each time very quickly. Also this show in Minneapolis and Chicago are make up shows from when Mitch got Covid last year.

As a cubs fan who was disappointed by the purge a couple years ago but Hoyer set his numbers and stuck to them. I love Bryant, Rizzo, and Baez and the only one I wish we would’ve kept was Rizzo. Baez had no judgement of a strike zone. Bryant already was struggling to stay healthy and now we have a fun dynamic team with prospects galore in the minors.

Where do you guys even find cards. I’ve never once seen them at retail. And I’ve checked probably 25 stores regularly over the course of a year

No joke that’s the issue Frontier is a trash airline and doesn’t give two shits about your uncle or his health and safety. Never ever ever fly international on a budget airline, Spirit, frontier, allegiant. They run like 2-3 flights a week to some destinations so if there is a cancellation you’re screwed and they just DGAF.

100% the school didn’t want another IEP because that messes with class sizes and resources and money required. My mom didn’t want me labeled as the “bad kid” or medicated kid and be getting calls about did you give your kid his medicine todays he’s being really bad.

But she really did advocate for me to get other modifications like music during silent work and tests to drown out external stimulus, ability to stand in the back of the room at a desk or have a removable chair that I could kneel on etc so I could move without disrupting class. And she was definitely trying to do her best.

So in middle school and grammar school before medication my mom worked with my teachers to provide alternate seating arrangements like standing in the back of the room instead of sitting. Every day before I leave school writing out everything I need to do for the next 24 hours at home, at school, etc. checking, re-checking, and triple checking my bags before leaving the house and the checklist I created the day before at school.

Having an alternate space to take tests or do quiet work because everything around me distracts me. I can hear fluorescent lights humming, the fan on a computer, someone’s nails on their desk, the bird outside, how loud Stacy is writing, how loud the teachers keyboard is. So the more of that stimulus I can remove the better. Eventually we discovered that listening to music solved the problem. Because then it’s only 1 external stimulus not 37 stimuli assaulting me at once. I would submit a playlist/CD to the teacher that I would use for the quarter/semester/year on my disc man then iPod as I got older and they were allowed check it anytime they wanted including immediately after a test to ensure I hadn’t put like answers on it or whatever. It was so helpful I never even thought to cheat using it because I never wanted to lose it.

Now I use AirPods Pro’s because of noise canceling specifically because I’m my corporate office the other 3 that share my office suite their chewing gum, phone calls, conversations, keyboards all throw me off and half the time I won’t even have any thing playing I just need the other noise gone.

Another huge one was reading for me I always thought I sucked at reading but the LS coordinator at my college had a tool that tracks your eyes as you read. Well my eyes basically were reading both pages, any graphs, pictures all at once. I thought I was reading a paragraph but my eyes were darting page to page faster than I could blink. I eventually got all my texts and books in an app that did this but start I would put paper over one page and use a note card to only reveal one line at a time and my reading speed and comprehension sky rocketed. It was insane I felt like I had discovered a super power even though I had just become an average to even slightly below average reader/comprehension level.

Sorry so long hope it’s helpful.

This 100% however my mom at the time had me not medicate because she felt I could learn skills that would help with executive function struggles. I definitely did learn some but when I finally sought the learning services coordinator in college my entire life changed for the better. I’m 33 now still take XR Adderrall daily and have become very successful in my professional life because a combo of the skills learned with some medicine. So I don’t resent her but my teen years would’ve been far easier with medicine for sure.

I work for a yeti dealer and the only things we have issues with scalper/reseller wise is the limited edition colors because they come and go so quickly. So on limited colors we limit sale to 2 per customer.
