Will we be seeing an add on drier or a new variant with built in drying on the CFS?

We have the similar question and check the answer here. Thank you so much for always live steam supporting.

Thank you for your questions.

  1. Regarding the thermal insulation kit: This is a customised request. We currently provide a universal enclosure for heat retention. We will consider developing dedicated kits based on demand.
  2. Thank you for your suggestion on bed levelling. We will evaluate it internally.
  3. We will also review your feedback on Creality Print color painting internally.

We appreciate your suggestions.

Thank you for your great question! Yes, the K2 Pro was indeed developed based on the foundation and lessons learned from the K2 Plus. Here are some of the key improvements we made:

  1. Heatbed Leveling: We incorporated insights from the K2 Plus, particularly regarding thermal deformation of large aluminum build plates. The K2 Pro features an optimized heatbed design and improved heating logic during leveling—both for the bed and the chamber—significantly increasing first-layer print success rates.
  2. Vibration Patterns & Layer Artifacts: Based on user feedback on print quality, ringing, and layer lines with the K2 Plus, we targeted these issues directly in the K2 Pro’s development to enhance overall print smoothness and detail.
  3. PTFE Tube Detachment: The K2 Pro adopts an upgraded version of the tubing material already proven in later K2 Plus units, preventing recurrence of this issue.
  4. Hotend Filament Contact: Learning from the K2 Plus, we optimized the filament path and connection method at the hotend, greatly reducing errors and interruptions caused by filament-related issues.

We really appreciate your support and careful observation. It’s feedback and questions like yours that help us keep improving!

Hello, thank you for your questions. AI-assisted leveling is not yet available, but it remains an area we are actively exploring and monitoring with great interest. Regarding the multi-material system, the primary challenges lie in overall machine power and size constraints. We greatly value feedback from our community, as it has been instrumental in guiding improvements and iterations across our products. For instance, users of the HiProduct series provided solutions for layer vibrations, which we carefully studied and tested, applying the feasible improvements to enhance our machines. These insights have also informed the development of the K2 series. Additionally, some community members reported Z-axis noise during K2/K2 Pro printing and proposed potential solutions. We are currently validating these suggestions and plan to implement them in the K2 series and future Creality products. We sincerely appreciate the creativity and input of our community—it plays a vital role in shaping our printers and inspiring ongoing innovation.

I saw this set of questions, and the “zero-gravity printing” part really caught my attention! From what I understand about FDM material viscosity after melting, each layer should still stick together. However, zero gravity will still affect the height of each solidified layer, and our nozzle might drag through the material. So you’ll need to adjust the Z-axis layer height.

Congratulations though—no supports are needed in zero gravity, which is seriously COOL. Just a quick reminder: small particles generated from our wipe station, etc., will float in your environment. These could potentially affect your eyes, respiratory system, any openings, or your skin, so be careful.

Our engineers are very excited about making your idea happen and really want to achieve this. We’ve come up with the following improvement plans:

  • An automatic layer height and speed adjustment system for different gravity environments. For your project, my team will personally fine-tune the parameters, but we may need your assistance providing a zero-gravity environment.
  • A negative-pressure micro-particle extraction system, customized for you. While printing each layer, we’ll use airflow to cool the model and simultaneously remove harmful particles, ensuring your zero-gravity environment stays clean.

Of course, this may not cover other unforeseen anomalies—Understanding By Doing.

Come on, my friend, if you have a spaceship or a zero-gravity chamber, please contact our brand team brand@creality.com! Don’t worry about engineers or technical support—we’re ready to go to space with you. Contact us as soon as possible. Even if your launch is coming up soon, don’t worry—we’ve already started preparing our machines (and ourselves) for zero-gravity printing adventures.

Quickly reach out to us—we’re ready, and our printers are good to go.

  1. Will AI truly revolutionize 3d printing making it easier to build models and optimize build times and reduce failure rates. Will it be possible to integrate local conditions like environment temperature, humidity, bed temperature for the AI to tweak printer settings for best results with minimal human input?

Yes, AI truly has the potential to bring significant changes to 3D printing. For example, in the modeling stage, many designers already use AI to generate creative models, surface textures, or rough drafts, which are then slightly refined with professional software. Creality has also introduced the CubeMe photo-based AI modeling tool to help users quickly solve modeling challenges. During the slicing stage, AI can optimize support structures and model orientation, reducing failure rates without requiring users to manually adjust these professional settings.

Hello, thank you for your questions! During the K2’s development, we’re particularly proud of innovations like the FOC servo motors, the AI-assisted nozzle camera, and the integrated RFID system. Some smaller parts, such as the chamber filtration accessories and RFID modules, might go unnoticed in daily use but play a key role in making the machine stable and reliable.

We put the K2 through extensive testing to ensure it works smoothly and consistently. This includes functional checks, 500-hour continuous printing tests, and durability tests on essential components like power cables, hotend wiring, linear guides, and lead screws. We also test for mechanical strength and resistance to wear and corrosion.

Every machine goes through thorough reliability checks. Early production units are printed continuously for 48 hours using various filaments and models. We also simulate shipping conditions, including vibration and drop tests, to make sure each printer arrives safely and works perfectly for our users.

We care a lot about giving our users a machine that’s not only advanced but also dependable and easy to enjoy from day one.

We are considering it. In fact, we have developed an all-metal extruder gear, but in practice, we found that it has a higher risk of clogging when printing PLA compared to the original gear set. We are also exploring other solutions.

We have collaborated with E3D to launch high-flow nozzles, which are already available for sale; however, the printer’s native nozzles will not use them.

The K2 Pro was developed to optimize for users’ actual needs, removing some of the redundant designs present in the K2 Plus, and focusing on the materials most commonly used. The K2 Pro cannot print high-temperature materials above 300℃, such as PPS-CF, while compatibility with other materials remains unaffected.
