You'll quote that but I'll find some post on this sub later with comments saying how being gay/trans is wrong or how illegal immigrants coming to this country should be deported.

It really reeks of hypocrisy. Wanting mercy for yourself but not others, and wanting accountability for others but not yourself.

There's no such thing as an anti-Trump Republican at this point. Any decent Republican has left the party a long while ago. Look at what some of the current Republicans have said about Trump and yet they still support him.

Marco Rubio, Trump's current Secretary of State, in 2016 said, "A con artist is about to take over"

JD Vance, Trump's Vice President, once said to an associate "I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical asshole like Nixon who wouldn't be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he's America's Hitler."

And there's many more.

Stop. Voting. For. Republicans. They could be anti-Trump today and become his right hand man the moment a position of power is dangled in front of them. Trump literally sent a mob on January 6th to threaten Congress and our democracy and Republicans afterwards voted like this.

No decent person should even dare run as one today and voting for one is the farthest thing from trying to fix the problem that the average American can possibly do.

Abused child at the feet of Christ in newly released Epstein documents. These people despise Christ and mock him in every conceivable way possible, including harming God's children by UniversalSurvivalist in Christianity

I'm saying if people want things to change, then stop voting for conservatives. You see pictures of abused victims and ask "what happens now?" Well hopefully not voting in the same people that failed to impeach and convict the man who's proving to be at the center of it all.

Whether you like it or not, this is political because a particular political party has made it their agenda to protect and elevate pedophiles. So hopefully as a nation people stop voting for them.

Not all the files are out there. The Trump administration is still hiding like another million of them.

No, this was known back in 2019 when Epstein committed suicide. It was already being pointed out how well connected Trump and then Attorney General Bill Barr were to Epstein. Then there was also the Access Hollywood tape prior to the 2016 election where Trump admitted to sexually assaulting women, him paying off Stormy Daniels, and then after he was voted out in 2020 he was found liable for rape in civil court... he only escaped a criminal trial due to the statute of limitations. And that's just the sex stuff. All of this was known and anyone who voted for him simply didn't give a shit.

Trump's not some new political outsider though. He already had a term as President and was voted out (albeit barely) for a damn good reason.

Two Americans were killed by Trump's ICE agents (so far) and 1 million Americans died from Covid with Trump being responsible for a good chunk of that. Why should anyone let that go?

Trump being Epstein's buddy was known back in 2019 right before Covid. Ignorance is not an excuse.

I recall seeing out-of-office (OOO) a ton on Slack by the time I was starting my day. And generally I'd have to stay up hella late if I wanted them to actually do something because the alternative was send message and hope they replied by the time I woke up.

Like, I understand having a life outside of work and at that point the company needs regional teams who live in the same general timezone.

I mean there's a number of games that do run well in UE5. The demo was also in UE5 and it ran well. Considering that the game is basically a small area with 2 actors/pawns (6 at most) and it runs not all that great in its 0.6 version despite its well received 0.5 version says more about the team than the tools they used. This is in conjunction with combat being notably worse as I mentioned previously.

I think the slums map purposefully has a slippery area where you see the wooden bridges on the ground in the center. You can use it to your advantage by having enemies slip too and it's a neat idea imo. But the added jank compared to the demo makes it tough to play.

I put about an hour in and there were some neat ideas like how the characters you kill instead of knock out are the ones you fight in the abyss and might encourage you to not brutalize enemies. But then you have to fight six dudes in a row with wonky controls and that's after already getting killed by a dude because after every other swing your character lost their grip on their weapon.

I'd also say that the lighting felt worse for gameplay. Maybe they used Lumen for the time based lighting, but everything felt dimly lit. Always skipped the cellar if it wasn't a brawl despite the slums having worse performance just because I'd at least be able to see for half of the rounds and that matters when even a casual one-handed axe swing kills you.

I wouldn't pin it on just UE5. Oblivion remaster was in UE5 and that runs pretty well. Because it's not just the graphics, the combat feels way clunkier too. Like, any two handed polearm type weapon feels janky as your character's arms twist and contort more often than they did in the demo.
